  1. i have a full box of shot shells but have never used them as i cant see them doing your rifling any good?
  2. I have a few cb long in 22lr and i reckon they are about 30ft lbs so still a pokey little round. Accuracy in my brno model 2 starts to drop off after 30yds or so. I used them for close range ratting on a dairy farm. Watch your backstops though as these suckers bounce!
  3. I use an angel eye on my ns200 its ok for the money. Cant justify shelling out for a Yukon or similar. The Angel eye i have cost £54 of evilbay.
  4. Im using an Angel eye dvr which is tiny and pretty cheap. Scope wise i use an mtc viper on my 22lr and a Mtc mamba lite on my .17hmr. Spotted this badger first time out with the Angel eye last night. Footage once transferred was grainier than i hoped. http://youtu.be/oF3Usf4LgOY
  5. Yes mate I would be drop me a pm with your contact details please Yhpm mate.
  6. My 9 month old cocker has been on Royal Canin since he was 7 weeks old and thrives on it. i did try him on Chudleys working crunch but thought it rubbish he produced loads more shit and his coat lost its sheen. I now feed him Royal canin in the morning and an evening meal of raw rabbit he has a lovely coat on him doesnt shit loads and his weight is spot on..
  7. Cracking vids! Bought my ns200 in January and wouldnt be without it now. I really like the look of that 'synth' stocked hw97! Might be a purchase coming on in the new year
  8. I still have my opinel but have just received my Mora clipper through the post. Impressive knife for the money and razor sharp! Will try it out tonight
  9. I have a pair of Spro red arc reels (£89.99 each) a preston 11ft carbonactive 2 piece 11ft feeder rod (£125.99) and numerous smaller items if your interested.
  10. I have a Hawke Panorama 3-12x40 i.r a.o map6 reticle. £ posted. Any good to you? Rgds Optelic2
  11. Think i will stick to my 22lr, .17hmlr and .177 pcp. All three together cost less than that Daystate on steroids
  12. i was out with the n.v last night and although scanning at range i saw plenty of rabbits i had to work hard just to shoot 7 although still enjoyed it . Problem is you stick out like a sore thumb on a cloudless night with a full moon so your fieldcraft has to be cock on compared to those nice dark moonless nights when it seems a lot easier.
  13. Totally agree ive been using the same opinel no9 for the past 9 years its razor sharp and very easy to keep an edge on.
  14. Funny you should say that at longer ranges my ns200 performs better with my mtc viper as opposed to the Hawke panoramas i normally use on all my rifles. Ive also found i get on a bit better with a side parallex scope the reticle on the mtc's also seem to show up a little better than the panoramas which are very fine.
  15. I use pc screen material on my ns200 and have no problem with screen glare. its a much cheaper alternative to the n550 you will only end up buying a doubler if you buy one as they are only x4.5mag unless you pay out even more for the n750 .
  16. ive used both and bought an ns200. The big decider for me was ease of swapping between rifles and not being limited by the low magnification on the n550. Had my ns200 over 6 months now and very pleased with it.
  17. I had a custom 10/22 for many years and it performed flawlessly with subs one of the few rifles i really regret getting rid of Ignore bottom image put in by mistake and cant delete it lol.
  18. Got mine zero'd at 100yds. Depending on scope height will only be shooting around 3" low at 150yds.
  19. Ive had three air arms pcps in the past all had the Air Arms moderator on them and were very quiet
  20. Ive used an opinel folder for gutting for last 9/10 years. Cheap and easy to keep a razor sharp edge on
  21. hi do you have any info on them for me, can you zoom in and out or is just a fixed lens thanks The mag is fixed at x4.5 which isnt enough for longer range rabbit shooting although for an extra £170 you can buy a Dr Bob lens doubler. My mate has an n550 mounted on his rapid and after having a go with it i did come away impressed but... It gives a great image but does sit high on your rifle. The i.r also eats batterys but the one thing that put me off buying is that its not easy to interchange between rifles. The n550 is also advertised as being able to be used in daylight to but i personal
  22. I own an early td4 Freelander and love it. Its fine for muddy trackes and fields. Ground clearance isnt as good as my td5 disco but its fine for what i need it for. I picked mine up cheap off ebay. It needed a few bits doing but i knew this when buying and it was very cheap. The seats fold up easily giving bags of room for shooting kit(five door model). When buying check that the VCU, IRD, front and rear prop shafts have no bad noises coming from them as they arnt cheap to replace!
  23. My working cocker has a meal of Royal canin in the morning and raw rabbit in the evening. He is also wormed regularly.
