  1. yea thats a Great Help Jason, i Think the same, its just i dont want to put my hw77 into retirement, lol, it has been such a gun gun over the years.
  2. I am wondering what you think is the best rifle to use for going rabbitng and maybe for the pigeons. i have the logun s.16.s(the new one) and my old hw77(which i have had for many years) they both exellent in my opinion, but i would like to know what you all think would be best to take out to the field?
  3. thats a nice setup mate [ quote name=commando' date='Mar 11 2008, 02:45 PM' post='456576] It is a Webley Axsor carbine .20 4-16x56 SWAT AGS scope Merlin Gen 1 night attachment
  4. o and the logun has a lifetime garuntee, it just has to be serviced every two years. which is not so bad, if anything goes wrong i can just send it back and get it fixed for free.
  5. i actually dont know if it is legal or not, its just we have really snobby hippy neighbours, and if it is perfectly legal to shoot pheseants that are in your garden that have came down from private land. then i can shoot them all i want, but i do not want my rifle taken off me by the cops! Is it legal?? mmm silly question. or wind up??
  6. hi everyone, i have just baught a new logun s.16-s . and i am starting to wonder if it is a descent rifle, it has been brilliant with me, no problems at all, but i have heard bad things about this, could i have peoples opinions about hunting with this rifle, i also have an old weirauch hw77.
  7. ok ok Commonly known as a chair
  8. i know what you mean scent, it was done legally anyway so..... i think this topic was about getting land? lol
  9. i do see how that was a bad statement scent sorry bout that. but i aint going to get into it with you markieboi. so we might aswell just agree to disagree.
  10. ok, sorry i only asked this because, most people i come across dont understand the need to shoot seals, at the end of the day it is for there own good, because they will die in pain if left, AND I MUST SAY AGAIN IT IS NOT FOR SPORT OR FUN!! but no one will understand unless faced with it so just forget it!
  11. no i never got it, i know you will enlighten me on what u mean? LoL , I dont think matey boy who replied before you got it
  12. ''PS, just out of curiosity, what on earth made you make a move like that. All the best with your search for ground.'' moletrapper, i made the move for my girlfriend, which i can see was not the best thing, orkney is far more relaxed with guns. we aint all running around like the wild west or anything, but theres a bigger understanding and allowance for hunters.
  13. well i havent shot starlings for about two and a half years, i lived down here in england for a year and a bit, and i was mainly just rabbiting and shooting pigeons before i moved, the reason i hadnt shot starlings for a while is because there wasnt many to shoot, now i know why, i will defintley not be shooting starlings now thats for sure, i have never actually went squirrel shooting, i thought it was illegal, but that might be because in orkney there are no squirrells. can i just ask what your opinions are on shooting seals? not for sport, i used to be a fisherman, and we had to shoo
  14. sorry if this is off topic, but, i am wondering if it is legal or not to shoot pheseants that have come into your garden?
  15. thanks alot scent, that has been a help, i will have a scout about this weekend, cheers mate call into farmers, dress smartly and offer to give em a hand around the farm .DONT call in at dinner time and dont call with your rifle .Even give them the phone numbers for the permission you used to have and tell them to ring the farmers who gave you permission .Be polite and you never know your luck mark it does work
  16. i dont know. do you have a sofa for sale?
  17. thanks for that, but i know know one will just give me permission, but the problem is i dont even know who owns any of the land, i will just have to look around
  18. i hope so too. it really frustrating having a rifle and not being able to use it, well i think so anyway.
  19. hi everyone im mark, im 20 from the orkney isles( top of scotland). i am now living in skipton, and i always hunted back home and had permision everywhere, but since moving down here, i dont know anyone and not a clue who owns what land in skipton, there is pheseants in my garden every mornig which come down from L woods, but i will not shoot them or hunt anything unless i have permission, anyway what im wanting is for anyone in or around skipton to help me find places to shoot, im into rabbit shooting, pigeon shooting, pheseant shooting, rat shooting, starling shooting, and squirell shooting,
