Stallion. now is it just me but i like looking at pictures as much as the next lad whats annoying is everyone feels the need to say / nice dog / lovely dog / looks very useful??????? how the hell can you tell from a bloody picture nice dog you can see the dog therefore you can say thats nice . i think people mean nice lookin dog . and a bit of encouragement or praise never goes a miss anyway

not doubting the logic of buying a already trained dog but i think it would be more rewarding to have trained the dog yourself . wat would you reccomend people dog or bitch or is it down to personal preference ? still looking for that spaniel

not spending excessive amounts probably somewhere in the 200-300 mark my mate got a s2oo for 230 with scopes and silencer bought a pump for quid and was away !!

well said mate . although sometimes a dog needs to be punished but some people just hit thier dog for the sake of it (IT'S WRONG) . sending out all the wrong signals to the dog and then they wonder why it has failed them !!

never owned one before infact any sort of dog for that matter so i cant be an expert but am willin to learn all i need now is to get the dog which is provin harder than you might think !!!!

i dont have anything against them its just my mate owned one and we went out with the air rifles shot a squirrel in the bush we kept sending the dog in and it kept coming back out with a bottle or other piece of rubbish !!! and i dont dislike them as such i just prefer spaniels just me i guess

cheers people my mate has a springer purely for pet and it is the most hyper dog ive seen in my life !! that put me off them a bit , does anyone know where any spaniel rescue centres are or if anyone has a litter of pups at the minute ? after a sprocker but willing to look at any working type spaniel

have done a bit of beating and am intrested in owning a gundog dont fancy a lab so its basically a choice between one of the spaniels just wondering which are the easiest to train ect ? also i was talking to a bloke the other day about papers he said dogs can be very expensive if they have the papers . my opinion is its what the owner makes of the dog not what its parents are like? im intrested in litters in yorkshire area pm me please thanks

Had a litter of 5 pups on wednesday all doing well good sized ,had them docked today.sire-3/4 patterdale 1/4 border Dam thought 100% patterdale but now think she might have a bit of russell in her .3 pups black with white chests 2 black and white patched pictures will follow in next day or two took this off chirpys old post hope he wont mind just to let every one know what they are

i saw an advert for pellet gun cometa 220 for 40 pound wasnt rally into air rifles so i didnt want to buy a dear gun incase i didnt enjoy it it was in my village and it turned out i new the lad so he let me have it for 20 quid . bought for start i use for target practice and have had the odd pidgeon and rat with it enjoy going out with it . not an excellent gun but now ive started to get into it a bit more looking for a new rifle maybe a pcp any ideas on which type for the next step up ? thanks
