Im wanting to apply for my shotgun licence very shortly and im just wondering if any of you guys shoot in and around stokesley , carlton area in North yorkshire , if there is there any clay pigeon clubs near by? If so would this be the easier way to get a licence quicker than trying to get permission off land owners? Cheers Alex

cheers , ye shes now 12 months and she's been out a couple of times on the lamp and she deffinatly know's wat rabbiting is all about. she follows the line of the lamp everywhere i shine it. she's had 3 on the lamp so far and a few mid-day just on walks up the moor's. she's my first dog so im just taking it steady because i know you can soon spoil a dog if given too much work early on. ill deffinatly keep you all updated on how she comes on over the next few months. thanks for looking and thanks for the comments!

now then chaps? just wondering whats the best technique for traing my 4 month old whippet bitch to retrieve? where do i start? do i involve treats at any point and how do i progress more difficult retrives? what age would you reccommend i start running the little bitch on rabbits? cheers chaps ! much appreciated !

cheers boys. my little bitch is laguna and sooty sam lines. any ideas on retrieving , she retrieves straight to hand when in the house but as soon as she's outside she doesnt want to know? any ideas would be much appreciated? here's another pic of her!

cheers for the advice lads really appreciate it. just another quick question, my pup is very noisey when i put her back into her cage even if i only plan on having her in there for a short period of time? any advice on gettin her to quiet down????

Have any of u whippet lads got any advice on what age i should start to my pup of the lead? shes currently only just over 10 weeks old and ive heard if you let them off too young they just wont come back when called. now she is good on the call back when on a lunge rope but is she likely to be the same off the rope? also at what age would u reccomend to start her on the favourite quarry of the rabbit? cheers lads for any info!!!

Ive just bought my self a pedigree whippet , little blue bitch with sooty sam and laguna lines. she is only 8 weeks and 4 days at the moment but i would appreciate any advice on training her e.g. on sitting , staying , recals etc. also at what age do u reccomend i allow her off the lead without her running wild and out of control? cheers. any advice very much appreciated!!!!!
