  1. I think some lads should just take a reality check. You cant go changing how you are to keep or pull a younger bird. I've heard of lads teeth whiteing, going to the gym, fake tanning and buying big posh cars before just to keep hold of someone, when they're "boxing above their weight"....its a shame, it really is. And if this lad your on about is ginger, then he's lucky to have a got a feck in the first place. But eh good luck to the lad!!!
  2. Great website, looks good and you've kept it simple without too much dribble to read through. However I'm gonna have to play devils advocate. I realise who you want to look for your services, but how can they? What SEO (search engine optimisation) have you done, this is what you gets you higher on google, bing etc... Without this you wont appear anywhere, sorry to sound negative but you need to look into this.
  3. I've been down to Cornwall plenty of times and for quite for a good few years. I've also never had a problem with the bloke, he doesn't have to take you on his ground or use his fuel for mile after mile.... But he does!! I get plenty of gear in front of my dog and have the crack with him. Surely that's what counts? As for "wanting to break your dog", sorry Dazzz I can't agree. I've ran xena hard down there, but it's me that decides when she's had enough, not MB. I think if you go to Cornwall expecting your dog to run like his do (with the land rover) then you'll be sadly let down, unless y
  4. From what I saw she doing great for a 12 month old pup. She looks awesome for a young dog apart the double chin.....might be hereditary tho
  5. I can answer that. Day 1 caught 28.....MB's star caught 27, day 2 Caught 4 so not worth mentioning. Day 3 caught 297.....Again Star caught all of them. Day 4......1,000,567 rabbits, shot and retrieved 7954 foxes, 4855 roe and a hare with mixy.....xena got that one.
  6. Ive had a "BIG" job come in for the area of St Helens to get rid of herring Gulls. Due to constraints, the only feasible method of control is the use of a Bird of Prey. Now the problem I see, is that it'll take a strong, stubborn bird to shift these 400-500 pairing gulls. It could be a good little earner, but has to be done weekdays and in the morning just before the gulls take flight. So if anyone is interested, then drop me a PM with your number and name. I'll give a call over the weekend.
  7. I have had a job come in to shoot some pests in the Crewe area. So anyone with an air rifle in that area who wants a bit of paid work, just prop me a PM leaving your name and telephone number. Please understand, I need a fairly professional look as I've had my fingers burnt doing this before.
  8. I never had the symptoms and only found out on my final medical when leaving the army. That was 2 years ago and now I do piss a bit more and my eyes are shit when I'm tired. I've now started to sort out my diet, I just need to drink less lager now.
  9. Last time I was at 11!!
  10. I found out when I was just about to leave the army and the information I got was shite. They gave me nutritional advice but I lost a stone in two weeks, which I cant afford to lose. I'm on metformin tablets at the moment..one a day. I eat my porridge every morning and on 4 meals a day, but still cant gain wait. It might because I have to work for a living for the first time in 3 years...lol I think I need to cut out spuds, and re-educate myself on the food I can eat.
  11. eh???? you fit???? last I saw your shirt buttons were about to shoot the bolting rabbits!!!
  12. Bunny Boiler.........Fit???? Eh??? Last I saw your shirt buttons where about to shoot bolting rabbits!!!!!
  13. cheeky f***er...and then asking for free gear. how old ya?
  14. I'm diabetic and a skinny f****r and wandered about the same thing. I wanna eat loads to keep the weight on, but find it hard as I'm really active and cant sit still for 2 minutes. But I don't want to eat loads in case it fucks up my blood sugar. there must be something I can eat loads of, that wont upset the blood sugar and I can also add the weight on....any ideas???
  15. Yes its expensive and yes the H & S, the legislation and the use of pesticides are always changing, but its great for revising on the biology on a certain pest you haven't dealt with before or for a long time. It's great to have in the back of the van as an index. As a "professional" you should take it upon yourself to have a periodic check with HSE about the changes. And done in 30 seconds!! easy peasy. Can I ask why you need the manual? If theres something in particular you need let me know.
  16. Copper tape is the way to go. They wont cross It
  17. That's not good news Ray, but for an 86 year old you aint done bad.
  18. Great boots these. I had a pair for a couple of years for hill walking, very comfortable!!
  19. If you've seen plenty of different types working and you say lamping is your main discipline in open areas then, choose anything that takes your fancy mate. other lads have different opinions but its what "you" like. Certain breeding does give you something different ie, speed, brains, feet, etc etc. but I've seen plenty of different breeding excel or be shit, or visa versa. most of it, is how you bring that pup on.
  20. I'd definitely go for a pup, your mates have maybe got lucky getting pre-owned dogs but you might just end up with a whole lot of problems. Where in Cheshire are you, if your not too far away then give me a shout and I might be able to give you some pointers in the right direction.
  21. check her weight...if she not holding any fat then she wont break down
