  1. Is this "just touch" it, or with a little force? Sounds like it is the same priciples as children. We can't stand the parents that say "no" "no" "no" "no" "no" then give in.. it teaches the child one thing.. persistance. I think I'll be able to make a little progress here then.   2. Hi All I've never trained a dog before but it looks like we will be looking after my mother-in-laws Standard Poodle for a few months in the near future. Sadly, M-I-L has done nothing AT ALL to get the dog obedient in any way so, it does what it wants, when it wants. It is approx 18months old - a bitch. In the few weeks we will have her, how can I get her to stop jumping up at people? To calm down when someone enters the room? To sit when told? and perhaps to lay down? If I can achieve that she will probably be a lovely dog rather than the pain in the ar** she is now. Please be
  3. Hi everyone. My name is Danny, I'm a web designer living near Southampton, Hampshire, England. I am an avid airgun hunter with a main quarry of rabbits and woodies taken with a .177 AA s410k. My family and I (or friends ) eat all I shoot. We also keep chickens, currently for the eggs but will be breeding some more soon for the table.
