alot of people have slated ken over the years , to me ,hes helped me out alot,was on the phone the other day for a quick chat to him and got to phone him in a couple of weeks to remind him he said pmsl,hes a real character ,that hog roast he used to do was great, a great big pork cob full of meat for 10bob ,they was the days.

i havent got any wheaten terriers anymore,i do have wheaten blood in my lurchers and have for the past 15years and befor that bull cross lurchers,this was the last wheaten terrier i add,

yes he still as the odd dog about him and as always line bred interbred out crossed with his dogs,also keeps is birds and as dun so for a good few years,hes about 10 15 min from j24 so not far from you ,straight talking no bullshit type of man ,a spade is a spade with ken lol and some dont like it ,but its the only way to be .

this is turning in to a very good topic, the dog will put his stamp on to the bitches pups ,you only have to go back and look at the pups ken gould had out of flint,that dog put is shape to all his pups,and it was gouldy bred russells winning at all the shows,they was all pleaseing to the eye,a nice straight legged terrier,will have to get me books out again lol.

no mate i dont ,i dont no of anyone the keeps them for work ,plus they to big for earth work now days and seem to be getting biger,only ever know one man that add one for work and he only add her for rabbiting and thats about 30years ago,its a same really i wasnt around 100 years ago even no my kids think i was lol.

I believe there are enough people working wheatens in Ireland/UK to keep them functioning properly into the future, as they saw a rise in popularity in recent times. they won their battle against the show lot, just, and scraped through the tough times in a diluted state, but their still here! Which is an achievement, as many strains of working dog have been lost forever. i hold my hands up to the lads that keep this great breed going,they not the easiest breed in the world to look after and keep on top of, im fascinated with terriers and all breeds of working terriers,fcuking book

becuse people dont want to be puting there stuff to shit.and lets face it pall we both no what your getting at.at the end of the day ive got a good reputation for what i breed and i dont like being lied to and putting my dogs to shit.ive stuck with the same breeds for years and and dont go in phases,i stick by what i no got no need to bullshit people like sum.

the bitch is the main stay in any breeding,without a good bitch there will be no good pups. ive bred mutations in birds for a number of years,differant colours from the norm,did this becouse i was intrested in genetics and it helps when applied to breeding dogs.not saying im the best in the world becouse im thick as fcuk lol but when your really intrested in something you learn no matter how hard it is.thats why i enjoy line breeding and inter breeding becouse i no what im getting each and every time,i wouldnt of known fcuk all if it wasnt for ken gould,as he was the one who got me into th

the red pup next to the black one looks like a wheaten terrier pup ,they could all be from different litters,ear carrige and head shapes not the same ,if i didnt no better i would say some one is takeing the piss all them years ago lol

the only kerry cross ive seen is little lurchers dog ,yes been out with him and seen him work ,3/4 bred he is and a good dog for that cross fast enough to catch, i put him on my old bitch a 1/2 bred wheaten greyhound,the bitch is 100% kill kill kill thats all she want to do ,i used him cus i no to a good bitch like mine the dog would proudce better then himself,as every breeding is more the bitch then the dog but that doesnt mean you cant use a good dog ,you all no this so i shouldnt of add to say owt any way,weather the dog is kerry cross i dont no but got to take her word for it ,as he about
