I have a ferret finder mk1 for sale any offer considered pm me if you are interested. It works and you can still see the numbers on the dial but the collars have given up the ghost and ive just paid out for a mk3 so ive got no use for it now.

im 36 ive had ferrets since i was 18 ( i started late) and have worked ferrets ever since in my opinion the greatest small pet you can get

sorry downside was the wrong word mine are fed watered and cleaned every day theres nothing worse than a dirty run

I feed my ferrets just dried food but let them have the rabbit skins to play with the only downside is they drink lots with dry food

if you are buying off of ebay make sure you buy the 6z nylon not the 4z they are both the same price but the 6z is stronger and heavier

ended up putting the ferret in ....... nothing . then found out that there is a large void underneath so going to clear it out and send my mates terrier in. thanks for the advice folks

The funniest one I have is when we lamped up a park down in sussex where i used to live and there was this big round white thing facing us at first i couldn't work out what it was then i realised it was someones spotty arse, so i slipped the dog she went hurtling up and then started licking the blokes face. I was crying with laughter watching them running across the park trying to get dressed.... Another one was when a friends son came out with us after an hour or so he said he needed a leak so i told him to go pee in the corner a few seconds later there was a blue flash and he was running aro -

I agree with you but 4 is all i have. I did have 9 but lost 5 with distemper at the backend of the year so ive got to wait until the spring to get some fresh blood in

Ive got a bank to do at the weekend that looks like a swiss cheese. I have a 150 nets and thats not going to dent it. I'm taking my 4 ferrets and 5 people 2 of these will be using 410's will post some pics when i work out how too

There can be so many factors as to why a ferret isnt birthing food is a major one but so are things like disturbance, temperature and the obvious ones like a sterile hob and or a sterile jill its just a case of elimination. Trying a new hob would be my first line of action.

Has anybody got any ideas on how to get rid of some rats that are living under my neighbours wooden shed? I dont want to put my ferrets down on them because they are last years and only used to rabbits, I dont want to use poison just in case one of my dogs get hold of one, I've put fenn traps down but they are bypassing them fo get to the chickens corn. I have managed to shoot a large adult but i know there are more there
