try it mate you can only find things out by experimenting. i have a silver hob that im going to cross with my sandy jill and im hoping for the same. a mate of mine had some black eyed whites he paid £35 each for them and they were nasty little blighters, it got so bad that i refused to go with him because they were flying out of the warren just so they could latch onto you but i think they were just a bad line

I think ( but dont quote me on this ) that they are out crossed polecats where the polecat gene has been totally diluted out through cross breeding with a sandy

there is the other side of the picket fence but with 3 bitches theyd ruin it so we fenced it to keep them out

Finally got the them. I put 3 fenns down and took 2 rats cleared out underneath the shed and found a nest. I dont know what was in there because my stafff munched the contents ....... Thanks for your advice gents

I agree with Marco a dog would help but failing that you also ahve to look at the reaction of your ferrets asm well mine wont bother going down a hole if there is nothing at home all they will do is sniff the entrance maybe go in a foot or so turn round and come out. The other thing is are you making too much noise is the ground noisy (icy etc) is the wind blowing in to the holes, are they new ferrets, is it a huge warren.... All these things can make a difference

As I said ive got 1 called Sausage and 1 called Mr Crabs ive also got spot and stripe they are 2 polecat jills they look identical except one has a white stripe and the other a white spot on their necks. I did have Gerrard,Alicia,whistler,popeye and fez but as i said in an earlier post i lost them when they got distemper ( the vet thinks it was caught up a park that i ferret).......... Could anyone tell me how to post pics on here because im stuffed if i can work out how to

Does anyone name their ferrets. As a rule i dont but the kids do but their names become quite catching. Ive been given a few funny glances when people have seen me looking in a bush calling sausage or crabby (Mr Crabs from sponge Bob Square Pants).

how did the ferret escape devvo... you can soon become public enemy number 1 if it gets in someones hen house or rabbit pen

i agree with socks mate just make sure that the cut dosent go pussy clean it at least 2 or 3 times a day if you can
