  1. Oh hello.........why did you vanish by the way?
  2. Everyone has a choice whether they pay to the BBC or not. Simply cancel your direct debit and don't give this corrupt organisation anything. After about three months you will get a knock on the door from an 'inspector'. Either don't answer or if you do answer and they ask you your name just close the door in their face. They have no powers and rely on dumb people grassing themselves up. Never tell them anything. Do not speak to them, unless you wish to ask them why they are working for a corporation that seems to habour paedophiles.....they don't like that. Not when you chase them down the str
  3. give her a good dollop of natural yoghurt once a day for a fortnight......see what happens.
  4. The lurcher I have here is a smooth coated type, black. During the summer months he spends a hell of alot of time monging on the sofa. Obviously he gets less exercise than when we are in the hunting season. His coat in summer isn't great, he has dandruff and his coat is a bit flat. His food is predominantly raw and of a high quality. However, as soon as August comes along I start to up his exercise, he gets cycled 3 or 4 miles every day as well as a couple of miles walk in the morning and evening. After two weeks of this his coat is like a mirror, he glows. I never change his diet, nor where
  5. We all like to have a bit of meat to play with....there ain't much fun to be had with a chicken carcass....
  6. Ahh.... I see......apologies. :D :D Filthy man.
  7. Moxy, I think you're confusing the two differing looks of male newts. It is without doubt a male. Look at the spots on the flanks. When newts decide that they are going to head for their hibernaculum they change their body. They shed a new layer of skin that makes them less exposed to dessication from the elements and prepares them for winter. The male newts only has his gaudy frills and striking colours when he is in the stadium of aquatic life, i'e when he's breeding. They look totally different at other times of year..... :victory: You will never see large spots on any female new
  8. Yes i would try to bide by my word But you know and i know mate there is no ( LURCHER ) capable of killing a red single handed I'd say that some people would disagree...... id say that them people cant prove it Some people don't need to prove anything to anyone buddy. However, I'm here to say that there are some dogs out there that have taken a good few red single handed. No stories or fairy tales, but pure fact. Now whether anyone believes it, it's up to them. But I knows the truth. Heres the thing; when I was young and hadn't done any travelling I used to hear tales

  10. it looks awfull when they like that I love a fat pup . This pup is eating loads now but of tinned stuff which tells me it's not getting enough goodness out of the tin if he is hungry all the time I've started adding dry into it on the hope it will fill it up and he is eating the dry I would prefer him on raw You want to give it some raw rabbit/chicken/venison. It will eat that.
  11. Sadly we all get tarrred.... There's always been idiots about, but these days they have the internet as a platform to boast about their cruel stunts.
  12. Shoulder................................ or brain. One or t'other...
  13. I used to grow Sea Buckthorn as I needed it for the Buckthorn Hawkmoth larvae. The berries tasted very sour to me. Have you ever tried making anything out of them??
  14. Google the easiest types to keep. Some require specilaist housing and lighting. Do a read up on them first.....
  15. It's a fine balance though, would you rather have something that never got injured but never caught anything either? Sometimes it's the triers that get injured and there's nothing you can do about it. Some seasons are good and some are bad and alot depends on luck and how often a man is out. if someone's out once a fortnight then he's a lot less likely to get an injury than someone out four days a week. Myself, I want a trier, a determined lurcher that will put his life on the line for a catch. But that's just me. All things being equal, I think that whippet and greyhound blood 'w
