  1. The Daily Mirror sales are falling, so let's hope it won't be long before it flips belly up like a dead fish........ There's a couple of real anti regional papers that are struggling like mad too. I will raise a toast when they finally give up the ghost. And it won't be long! When there was the Burns report they filled their letters page with antis, but would never publish my reply. Since then I've been waiting for them to start slipping down the slippery slope of bankruptcy....they're nearly there.... :D
  2. The thing is; they will never get away from the daft 'quote' that they have given in the past. Just like Nick Griffin, the quotes will be dragged up time and time again . No matter what their policies are, every interviewer will ask about the controversial things thats been said in the past! Labour are sunk IMO.
  3. Yes, they often go back to the same feed flowers. The more aromatic the scent the better. These moths can't really overwinter in the UK, so they are migrants from the continent where it's a bit warmer. They, however, can breed over here if they arrive early enough and if we have an Indian summer, though the chance of finding these caterpillars is remote at best. They can be over-wintered artificially I believe, but it's not easy. A cracking find!
  4. When I said 'plum', it could be a greengage, damson, plum, apricot......you'll have to wait to see what the fruits like......
  5. TerryD That does have a certain 'cherry' look about it........
  6. It's a type of plum buddy. Until you get it to fruit you might not find out the type...
  7. Lets hope he's their leader for a couple of decades at least.....
  8. That there is one of them 'Hummingbird Hawkmoths' They're not too common, so it's a good spot......
  9. You'd need to be there very fast otherwise the net would be shread! Wallabys are strong critters! Also, I think it is illegal to net wild deer......
  10. No point in buying twice....buy the best kit once and then you can forget about it..... And good luck.....
  11. I think that it's worth mentioning that some populations of rabbits are much, much easier than others..... :victory: If you haven't seen how easy some rabbits can be you maybe would view the 'numbers' as impossible.
  12. Apparently the bookies were offing 500/1 odds at first on JC getting leadership. I wish I'd have known....
  13. What with JC and SNP, I think it's now a one horse race and Labour's sunk.
  14. Careful who gets him matey......Do some background checks..... Don't want the pup on the merry-go-round...looks a cracker!! :victory: Hope he gets a loving and secure home....
  15. Cheers JD, 200 with a tenner gd luck money back. Quite resonable i think. Where did you get him buddy..... Is the pup off any particular line??
  16. It's a nice looking, solid pup. Hope he turns out a good one for you. Was he expensive? :victory:
  17. Without seeing it, it is a bit difficult. i would trim the nail back a bit, not to the quick, but back enough so the other toes/nails offer relief. It takes time to heal, and as Sandymere says, a few days of metacam/rimadyl will be great. I have had the same injury on my dog last season, the toe was rested for a couple of weeks and actually formed a hard callus. Rest is important. I have not had any trouble since with that toe, it's as good as new, despite the lump.
  18. Not a bad night here last night. Wind picked up a bit and not too warm for the dogs. A nice evening out.
  19. It's in the wrong section mate.....the dog looksin good condition so it will probably have a decent owner...hope the dog finds its way home...
  20. It will be someone who has been to the place. He will probably know the thieves, or at the very least, friends of the thieves. Good luck in recovering the dogs and let's hope the thieves will get what they are due!

    Don't support them fella's.......
  22. The Working Lurcher Federation. No need for Gb or British, just nice and short and sweet and simple. The Code of Conduct was pasted earlier on in the thread by Paulus, I can't see it being improved much.
