Is this the one your using mate.http://ianhodgefieldsports.co.uk/shop/clulite-long-ranger-led-pistol-light.html Yes buddy....

Look at Ian Hodge......I think they're £45 on there..... the PLR is the best lamp I've used yet! I have done two nights back to back without charging it. Not all-nighters granted, but a few hours each night. They are the dogs....

Fenns much better than BG's for rats IMO.

The quarry is a shadow of its former self. I don't know if you remember the huge dyramid rock that had another huge rock balanced on top of it? I spent many years shooting and messing about in the quarry back in the days when it was open and owned by 'Briggs's' Believe it or not there is roe deer in there now!!!!! If you go to the Iveson end of the quarry, there is another lump of woodland and at the bottom of that there is another 'shelter', a sort of concrete bunker....the other concrete structures in that wood are old sewerage units... I seen roe deer there many times over th

it was a great shelter wasn't it! its a big shame it was removed I don't know why they did it. I also played in that area messing in the woods, by the canal and river. it was great and have good memories of childhood adventures and fishing. I didn't know about the leeds perm bunker that sounds interesting is it still there? Yes as far as I know. the Next time i am in the area I will have a walk and take piccys. There are actually several war shelters in the area hidden in the woods. Nice to look back!!

In the meantime there's something you might want to try. Get some clean cotton wool and dip it in hot salty water. Obviously use your initiative as to the heat; you don't want to scauld the dog! but as hot as you think is ok. Wrap the cotton wool around the infected area. The wrap up fairly tightly with bandage. Leave it on 20 mins. Obviously do not constrict the blood flow to the toe, so don't strangle the toe!! But tight enough. Take off and wipe with another clean lump of cotton wool. I'd do that twice a day and see what happens within 2 days. It's worth a gamble.

Keep us informed.....For such infections I have found Noraclav to be the best. Is there any -opening- or hole anywhere for fluid to leak out of?
-
Tomburras, I have been in that shelter before when I was younger as i grew up in the area. There is also a shelter made in some woods about three miles away to house all the documents of the leeds perm building society. It was a huge concrete bunker that had three storys. A bit claustrophobic to say the least. I was actually stood on another brick built shelter set in woodland yesterday that i stumbled upon. As a young kid aged about 5 or 6 i spent a long time messing about in those kinds of places, the local allotment had old air raid shelters on them, i remember discovering that was where h

Do NOT do that. To withdraw ROA you must give your details. You give them your details and they will sumnmons you. So DO NOT have any communication at all with them. Simply do not give any details to the TVL and they cannot do a thing,. Ask them why they are working for a pro-peado organisation and watch them squirm away. If they do not know the house owners name then they cannot do anything. No you don't have to give them details, they send letters to the present occupier all the time just use the same in response. Don't fall for there rubbish. http://www.bbctvlicence.com/Wi

Rough the smooth edges up with some soil mate. They will hold better then.... -
Thank god for that....i was losing sleep worrying myself sick.....

I've done a fair bit with the PLR this season and I have not found a single negative thing to say. It's £45 plus postage, but shop around. Done two nights back to back, lamping for 2-3hr both nights and still holding charge. I sometimes think, Imagine if the PLR was available twenty years ago.....we'd never use anything else... i'm thinking about getting another one so I've got two of them for when I go further afield......they're the best lamp I've ever used.........
-
Sorry....I can't translate that....... How many fallow, sika and red has he had? Obviously daytime......and, I've never had a 'very good dog' or a 'very top class dog' either. They've all had their faults.
-
Brilliant!
-
Tell your vet you want Noraclav...... I'd apply a hot poultice to that for three or four days of treatment and then jut once a day in hot salt water. It's going to be a while healing matey. get a head torch for checking the dogs feet, it will really help you spot foreign bodies as I wouldn't be surprised if a blackthorn had caused that and not just a nailbed infection....good luck..
-
What was he like when you tested him on fallow, sika or red? How many 3/3 did he do on hares in the daytime? And how many 50+ bags of rabbits did he have? Just trying to gauge what a' very top class dog' is.....
-
IMO, It ain't just myxi....there's something else that's hammering the rabbit population..... myxi's been around for 60+ years, it's some other 'thing' that has been making rabbit numbers drop year on year for the last two decades.....In my opinion.
