If it were my dog: A good vet might put it on a course of Synolux and not feed for 48 hours. Then start with boiled chicken only for the next 48 hours, gradually increasing the food and adding a low quality meal until the stools harden and things take a turn for the better. Without the break in food IMO the dog can't get past the virus.Synolux or Camoxyl are very good AB's for this. However, if the dog is very bad then a drip may be needed as well as 48hrs intensive veterinary care. JD

There's something different about a couple of butterflies at the bottom right hand corner on the second case.........

yes Neil, well spotted. They're extinct as a breeding species in the UK, but we do get the odd influx of migrants, though they can't really over winter here anymore. Here's one I reared earlier.... That's a peach JD, what's the problem with the overwintering, do they need a colder climate than what we've got here these days ? IMO I think the milder, wetter winters doesn't do them any favours, and neither does the wet summers. I would say that the UK was always on the very edge of the LT's range, and maybe just a slight shift in temperature contracted their population a bit....

So a air breathing mammal evolved in water have a think about that mate lol Mammals evolved on land. They've always needed oxygen, one way or the other. Sea mammals will have made the transition to water, from land as the earliest mammals were small rat-like creatures that evolved from reptiles.

That's not a good way to hold the fish. Great catches, but treat them with respect....

OK. Now here's what I'd do. As a trial. I'd just forget the malaseb for the time being. I would get myself an order of Camrosa oil ordered. http://www.camrosa.co.uk/products/starter-pack Use the shampoo as directed, then have a good look and see where the sores emerge. Treat these with the oil. You'll be amazed. Also, I'd be putting the EBT on a fully raw diet and see what happens. But obviously these changes need staggering, just so you know, for sure, which is effective.

WCS will not ship these to the UK. It must be something to do with the deal with Magnum trap co. To order these for the Uk then they must be bought from other stores instead,.

You'll get some good deals from Ebay. I used to have a massive collection, I think I had about 460 odd of them. They are often for sale in the Hounds magazine, my advice is to buy two of them if they are dated or cheap, as they will come in handy as swaps as badge collecting is a popular pastime these days....

Get it put on a canvas....you'll make a fortune! Paulus might pick up a few tips from ya I reckon...

I think snareman used to go over to canada, maybe even where he learnt his mink expertise from,he probably still has contacts over there.Once both my kids graduate and i have a few pennies spare for extended holidays i have a couple of contacts in canada who trap, wouldnt mind some time trapping beaver,i have seen their dens in ontario and wouldnt mind a crack at it,i am over there in mid-feb but none of the family are particularly interested in trapping. Alaska's the place, everythings game there!

Each case is differnet, but if it were me I'd be looking at a cortisone injection into the joint, followed by Bone Radiol treatment once a day. Rubbed in with a soft toothbrush. That's IF it is the joint. If she has swollen muscle this could be causing the ligaments to pull oo the 'knee cap' thus causing limping. In such cases a seven/ ten day course of rimadyl/metacam/loxicom should take away the swelling and the cap should right itself. Obviously, it could be none of those two things, but they could be what the problem is....
