Need a new pair boots and fancy a mooch around. Anyone know any shops near newcastle thats worth a nosey?

After a new pair boots, these seem ok, reasonable price. Anyone any idea if they're any good... or suggest an alternative? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=380065718625&Category=63850&_trksid=p3907.m29&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26its%3DI%26otn%3D2 Cheers

There was a man who worked for the Post Office whose job was to process all the mail that had illegible addresses. One day, a letter came addressed in a shaky handwriting to God with no actual address. He thought he should open it to see what it was about. The letter read: Dear God, I am an 83 year old widow, living on a very small pension. Yesterday someone stole my purse. It had £100 in it, which was all the money I had until my next pension payment. Next Sunday is Christmas, and I had invited two of my friends over for dinner. Without that money, I have nothing to buy food with

Ordered mine... good idea... good charity... well done

He's 16 weeks. Came from Rothbury, near Morpeth. Settling in well, labs still not best chuffed but they're coming round slow but sure.

Gotta agree... it's no big deal to walk elsewhere with yer dog, or even talk to the keeper who may offer an alternative route that minimises the impact or even helps push his birds in the right direction... but it's a big deal if the game is disturbed.. I don't think it's an unreasonable request.

Brilliant, looks like fun. Great looking dog too

Nice one, congrats.... Nice looking pup

I use my Lab on the beating line and on rough walked up shoots. He's absolutely fine. Doesn't quarter naturally like a springer would so needed a little bit more instruction by way of me sending him this way or that. He's now starting to catch on and needing less instruction and is happy to go into thick cover etc. He'll never be as efficient as a cocker or springer but he's doing a good enough job and with the added bonus that he's not as mad as a spaniel and much easier to train and keep steady.

Finally got my springer pup. The Labs are not best pleased, a bit put out and not amused at being leapt on and such, but coming round slowly but surely. Sorry about the quality of picture but it's off my phone and also it's not easy getting a springer pup to stay still long enough to click the button. Anyway here he is..... Beau
