still have permission on golf course, but its a now u see me now u dont ..getting hard to ferret now as they are staying in cover & the setts i did last year the greenkeepr filled them in,hope you have a good day out with ur new gun. will have to meet just to introduce myself soon . no kids this week yehawwwwww.. keep in touch regards john

sorry mate didnt get back sooner , apparently its my birthday monday ( 45th) so i have been told im now allowed out on sunday as something is planned lol gutted as would have been ideal to get up 2 farm as well, will have to try again another day, i think im going for a family meal , speak soon regards john

heres mine have changed a bit now new roof on main hutch,few more pipes in outside cage & instead of 1 small hutch @ the end i now have 2 on top of each other, so its 2 4ft hutches on top of each other, connected by pipe to a 7ftx4x4 main hutch which has underneath section , then connected to a 1mx1mx1m cube with ball pool, cat scratch pole & hanging basket which they have slept in most of the summer,

had 1 last season but there are more on my permission which i have seen,regarding the bad luck , i let it go the first time , only to have to dig to my hob at another sett because it had gone into a stop end,my mate dispatched it not me i was having none of it was gonna let it go again : )we was arguing like 2 kids the bad luck i had after that day seems more than coincidence but im superstitious, & eneded in the guy who used to drive us up there crashed 2 cars twice & now has died in a car crash about 2 months ago , but as the previous poster says where bunnies are in abundance the

Damoruss sorry mate not been in contact, had an early end to my season, worse still after my bad luck spell ( killin me Black Rabbit) evrything went wrong, have lost my mate who used to come with us he crashed his car & killed himself !! i am going up to the farm next week or so to make sure i still got permission, if you have transport, i am up for going halves on petrol & knoc...

some funny comments people made my week, just havin one of those SEASONS i think, roll on next season, was meant to be getting a HH this season but im leaving it AGAIN until next year, i could do with some one with a BOP to show me how to work a ferret for a BOP, as i know its completely different than just ferreting,time to get out my begging cap. next year ferrets will be bit wiser& older just hope my luck lasts a bit longer, they cannot come in season early as i have already sorted that problem & im getting the bus ferrting as well , anyway hope you all enjoy the rest, regards

has anybody caught any black bunnies & had any bad luck ? since i caught a black bunny, my hob came in season early( nov/dec) my jill came in season nov/dec), so i could only work 1 ferret, the lad who comes with me crashed his car twice , 2 different cars & 1 was a replacemnt car from insurance, my son broke his leg playing rugby, we had to cancel the snowboarding holiday because he couldnt fly & lost the money, this was 2 days before we was due to go , im beggining to wonder if it is true, i let the black bunny go the first time only to have to dig to my hob an hour later to fin

can you be more precise in the info you are looking for ? foods, handling them, anything really thanks im not having a go mate but you should have reasearched all this information BEFORE you got them, anyway have a look here My link this may help also if you look at the top of the ferreting section there is a sticky about what you need to ferret, for food they are obligate carnivours, but you can use dry food for ferrets James wellbeloved is what i use, hope this helps

Thanks stealthy, the day certainly challanged the team Every time I have a really good bagging session it involves thorny bushes, so I take my hat off to you for wading in great result , i have still got the scars to prove i ferret thorny places, i even cry like a girl after on a serious note good to get out & not have to dig now thats got to be a bonus this time of year, keep up the good work regards john

Hi people another update on the implants i have had done, the Hob is loosing his yellow coat, agression signs fading ,i put him with the girls , he didnt grab their necks straight away he played for a while then decided he would try & hump them all,each time he tried, he seemd to have forgotten what he was doing then stopped trying to hump them & played again !!! my Jill has gone back to normal her vulva is back relaxed, so from the date of implant it brought her in season for 10 days then the signs fade, i suppose this will differ from ferret to ferret but i suspect 14 days will be
