  1. I got some prologic, the third time i wore them I stood on a broken reed and it went straight through the sole of the boot, we got some from cabelas and there top class, the first waders we had were snowbees and they were exellant but they don't do camo any more.
  2. hi broady, once you know the basics, ie keeping your traps scent free, bedding your trap, the more you do it the more you learn. like this time 7 moles one trap same hole/tunnel, most i've had before 4 in the same tunnel, i'll just leave the trap untill it stops catching. has any body else had a similar experience as this, the normal for me is between 1-3 moles job finnished Got my 18th mole in 8 weeks from one small area of my Dad's yard
  3. Id never ever put superglue on a rat bite if there is any infection in a bite, superglueing it will make it worse in the long run. Rat bites just need cleaning well. Hydrogen peroxide works well to clean nasty bites. Mine get a rub over with some dettol mixed with water & I put hydrogen peroxide (30 vol) on any bites that look a bit nasty and thats it. I would use anything that I would use on myself on a wound previous to glueing and never any problems, it isnt usualy a rat bite that causes a big enough wound for glueing it is useuly unseen hazards un the hedge bottoms but still
  4. I usually give mine a good bath and a bit of savlon on the cuts, a mate of mine puts iodine on his nuttal but it love's pain, superglue works well on any cuts but make sure everything is clean before glueing up. Have a look at Ryedale Ratters on youtube.
  5. Thanks for all your help much appreciated
  6. Woming is upto date and it isnt just her pile she wants to pick up, she is also in good condition probably best she has been, she always picks things up when being daft but this a new one
  7. Bit of a strange one but for some reason my lurcher has recantly started to pick up bits of old dog crap and wanting to eat it, has anyone expierianced anything like this and anyone got any answers
  8. He hasn't stopped grinning - but then, at that price neither would I . . . OTC He seems to have a good supply of luck, I've never known anyone like him.
  9. It seems Ryedale Ratters is happy with his bear trap from the auction
  10. Me and a mate saw something when we were out with the lamp one night not long ago on the south side of the north york moors, not sure what it was but we knew it was nothing native, it didn't like the lamp and it ran like hell but very cat like
  11. Duck shooter at the minute but hopefully soon be a mink trapper
