  6. i agree mate not required just good practice ready for the fac if you make the move.. good luck on monday mate... the key question YOU must ask them before everything starts... now this is quite serious mate dont forget this otherwise they will put a big line through your application you must ask them.. "tea or coffee and do you take sugar" thats the key mate lol worked for me.. best of luck..
  7. im going looking for some shooting gear cant wait going to be a good day.. ill be tehre saturday..
  8. very informative and good write up davy mate my .20 cal rapid likes jsp's but i do find them hard to get hold of in that calibre so i set my sights with the Field targets as i have got about 4 tins of them and i was hitting a coke lid consistantly at 35 yards so i was pleased with them and the trajectory at 40+ yards was surprisingly good with hardly any drop i find the .20 very simular to a 177 but just got more hitting power and surface area on impact which is slightly weird as the pellet is closer to a .22 pellet.. the jsp's tend to be a good pellet in the .20 and also logun pentrato

the older guns are better mate they arent limited to 10.5ish ft lb like when new so the older ones will be able to go closer to the 12 ft lb limit. i had a s410 new in 22 and a old in 177 great guns but 177 is the calibre to go for at 12 ft lbs or i find my .20 a very very effective calibre hitting a rabbit yesterday at 42 yards with hardly any drop in the pellet...
  10. good shooting mate and a nice funny write up it made me chuckle lol.. me and my dog touched an electric fence on the shoot before it did make me jump but my dog yelped like the little girl he is lol they normally turn it off but they didnt this time.. stuped spaniels
  11. lol... no not a p***y mate just the guys next doors sons caravan lol... the cal is .20 the best calibre on the market in my opinion. shots is far more than any normal rifle (s410 for example) i will find out for you but at around 22ft lb fac i think you get about 50 mate maybe more.. cant wait to get out going down the range tomorrow to set the sights.. cheers
  12. well my gun should be here today dont think im going out with it tonight but proberbly tomorrow. ill put loads more pics up when it arrives..
  13. no never shot a fox before which is why i want to make sure everything is perfect, and he needs to go, i told the farmer i saw him and they did ask that i would take care of him... im not going to use the shotty now a friend is going to come down with his rifle which seems to be ther better tool for the job on the lamp.. cheers
  14. as we pulled up yesterday i turned my head and saw a big orange thing running away.. STOP THE CAR!!! jumped out grabbed the gun, grabbed the fox cartridges... had a look for him but no sign except of where he went into the forrest, i could of tracked him into the forrest but i had my dad and teh other lad i was taking out shooting waiting at the car. .there was what looked like rabbit internals lieing where i seen him run from... we did shoot a rabbit that evening but it had mixi so we left it for him and hopefully i will get him on tuesday or wednesday when i go out... Whats the best way

  16. lol cheers lads its a AWT silencer so very quiet...
  17. cheers lads ive shot 2 .22's and 1.20 before and since shooting a rapid i fell in love with them better than any other rifle i have shot before, theyre quiet well balanced etc etc and i love them, and another thing is you can easily easily upgrade them and improve them and parts are easily available..
  18. well my dad bought me a rapid today a .20 cal mk 1 with tyrolean stock and a hawke 4-12x50 scope. very nice indeed. bought it off the bb's website with a spare mag and bag for 560 deliverd to the door... should be here saturday... well im working away at the moment so wont be home till next week where i can use the rifle, but as soon as i get home im going bunny bashing. i was very fussy while looking for a rapid i didnt like the mk2's or the new mark 1's but didnt like the look of the old mk 1 stocks but this one just does it for me... http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p74/DIN...to
