  7. So which lucky fella purchased this? I've been told that it was sold within an hour of it going up and at least three of us enquired in that time (looking at the post timings). George
  8. woodga, I've sent you a pm. George
  9. Sorry, just spotted the calibre. Was about to ask 'Calibre?' George
  10. Foxyfowler, please accept my apologies. If you have a unit with you and it's not supported, then I'm wrong. I wrongly assumed that as the rail was extended forward, unlike their HTH counterparts, then the rear of the lens would be supported by the rail, for extra strength and to combat any chance of parallax problems. Oh well George
  11. That's right, Andy. The HTH-751 and HTH-752 are both unsupported. All of Clive's models are the new incarnation and have supported front lens. George
  12. It's the HTH-752. The front lens is unsupported, unlike Clive's Day/Night scope. George
  13. Nite Site are offering a free pack of screen filters to all members of www.nightvisionforumuk.com until October 9th. You simply have to get in touch and supply serial number of your Nite Site unit. Click on the link in my signature to join. George
  14. Could you not just use tape on your scope eyebell? George
  15. I've the 10x42 Geovids too. Had the Zeiss Victory RF 10x before that. Not a lot to choose between them, optically, but I feel that the Leicas are better in the hand and the rangefinder is easier to use on them too. George
  16. I think that some lads have replaced the tube with the Cobra Day Scope Adaptor, which is normally used for a night vision add-on. Expect to pay around £-£90 for one though. George
  17. So is that not a DVR on the end of the rubber eyepiece? I take it that's the screen, mounted above the scope? George
  18. Some hard work gone in there, fella. Looking good. How well do you find that it works, and to what distance? Cheers. George
  19. "I was going to stay out of this but f**k it!!! people only slate competition ,so there products can survive!!! get in the real world and at least have the balls to say so! so when the next great Nv comes out which is a threat! and its posted on the NV forum,i suppose it will get slated too!! get a f*****g life and let people get on with there's rant over!! we should be encouraging rather than slating!!!!!!!!! " Davy, maybe you want to tell me where the Nite-Hunter unit is competition to me? As you quote my post, I have to assume that your anger is directed at me.
  20. You're right there, Gareth. Each to his own. My point, in reply to Davy's comment, was that Antoni has brought out a unit which is not really any different to (in fact, it's remarkably similar to) anything that's already on the market, after he and his 'team' went to great lengths to say that their unit was going to rock the night vision scene. Pretty much any of the experimental units out there (being built by lads on their kitchen tables) can achieve in no time at all, a unit that you look above the line of your scope. The challenge has always been to come up with a unit that require
  21. "very quiet over on the NV forum :hmm: i wonder why???" You're correct, Davy, in regard to Antoni's contraption, it pretty much is. I think that's because people are deflated after all of the hype, and claims about how it was going to blow the night vision world apart. Has it really done that? Bottom line, he's brought out a cheap version of the Nitesite, after promising so much. It's a Nitesite with the monitor brought forward and a viewing tube stuck in front of it. I'm also very surprised that the unit carries a varifocal lens. This is just more to faff on with and is a failure o
