  2. thats my 8 month old 1/4bedlington 5/8greyhound 1/8whippet. Hes started chasing rabbits and is really keen to chase. hes started working light cover well and seems to have a very good nose. hopefully great things to come from this pup

No point we know the parents, absolutly no doubt.. 100% the most explainable reason is the one spep21 has come up with,, and this is what we thought too, just do it to prove that they are the parents. cause it seriously looks like there is some sort of retriever in there. id be greatly surprised if there isnt

  5. all i no is that they need a warrant cause i no someone who had there dog lifted by the council and the police and they needed a warrant before they were allowed through the house but they had to go to the courts to get it so it'll probably be atleast tomorrow before you get another visit because the courts are probably closed now! i live in N.ireland so it might be slightly different were you live

  7. thanks for all the tips everyone, but sadly the bitch only had one pup which she had by caescerian! she didnt bond with the pup and when my mum was trying to get the pup onto the bitches nipple to feed she turned and bit the pup and killed it! thanks anyway everyone

  9. my dog is due to give birth in the next day or two! she is feed a barf diet! i was just wondering how i feed the pups? im keeping two pups from the litter but i wont be deciding what two until they are 6weeks old? what do i do up until then and what do i feed the rest of the pups because i no that not all the pups will be fed raw once they go to their new homes? any advice will be grateful?
  10. i work in a butchers and i get pigs feet and i feed them to my dogs and they love them and ive never seen anything wrong with their stools
  11. my staffy has just turned two and she is still submissive to certain dogs, but i read in a book that staffys are late to mature so im not to worried and i dont think u have much to worry about
  12. the sire was bedlington/greyhound x bedlington/whippet and the bedlington was rillington, the dam was greyhound and shes the daughter of mustang jack. sorry mate but that the most i can tell you. hes the biggest of the litter by a good inch so far at 22tts, my mate has his sister and shes is a good 19inches. ill upload a photo of both of them soon
  13. i have a 1/8 whippet/ 5/8 greyhound/ 2/8 bedlington pup hes just turned 5 months and hes 22inches to the shoulder. i will upload a picture when i get my camera working
  14. i work in a butchers mate and i can get things like ox hearts ordered in anytime. i also get old meat which cant be sold but is perfectly good for the dogs. go in and ask your local butcher if he can get anything like that ordered in for you

  17. i am looking for a bit of advice on feeding raw. my two staffords have been on a raw diet for about 8 months. as i work in a butchers i can get all the food i want for them and it doesnt cost me a penny. i feed them about 1lb a day. there diet consists of chicken hearts, ox hearts, lamb hearts, kidneys, scrap meat, chicken carcass and wings, lamb ox and pig bones and any other sort of meat i can get my hands on. they very rarely get anything esle apart from meat apart from raw eggs and milk every other day which is mixed in with there meat, is there anyother thing i should be feeding them like
  18. alright everyone. im from northern ireland and im just new to working dogs, i've just got a four and a 1/2 month old greyhound x bedlington/greyhound/whippet male called lincoln hes 20inches at the moment so i think hes gonna be a big dog. i also have two staffords, i will upload a couple of photos once i get my camera fixed
  19. i think jumping is essencial but only if its safe on the other side. cause if your out lamping and the dog jumps a gate or fence then you and the dog are only gonna no what on the other side when it lands and a farmer could have left machery or something on the other side and you wouldnt see it at night, also if the dog jumps a fence during a chase if the dog is chasing for a couple of minutes and is carrying back a 4lb rabbit jumping over the gate could be a different story. one of my mates old dogs coursed a hare and coming back it jumped a wire fence it had cleared on the way over but never
