    dp dpgs need veg?? my dog has just eating raw meat and bone for about 1year and hasnt had any veg in about 5months except for the odd bruised apple but even they are rare for her. i do feed her milk and raw egg once a week. wat do youse think casue i dont notice anything wrong with my dog, infact she seems better just feed on meat and no veg?

    what did the first lurcher do, how did it no to catch a fox? it didnt have an older dog to show it what to do? not every dog needs another dog to show it what to do. im sure the majority of lurchers would tackle a fox with out an older dog to assist it. you just need to let the dog mature and not enter it to early. imo

    surely one dog can dispose of a fox quicker than two because one dog can get a good shake and kill the fox quickly, where as two dogs are just going to play tug-of-war with a live fox as neither of them can get a good shake at it. imo

    mince is to expencive to give to a dog mate. go to your butchers and ask them if they would keep you all the old meat and off cuts that arent fit for human consumpation. these included lamb breast bones, pigs feet, chicken bones and cuts of meat that have gotten old. you could also ask them if they could get you hearts. ox hearts are the type i give to my dog as they are very big and are the best value for money. if hes a decent butcher he shouldnt charge you to much. how much to feed your dog? what weight are the dogs? my staffordshire bull terrier weights about 32lbs and i feed her about 350

    raw diet is the best, its natural for the dog, as it being so closely related to the wolf which eats raw

    thanks, i tried to up load photos but my computer is playing up so il try later. im not rushing him, im just letting him work away at his own speed. i usually just take him out into the fields and i just stand there and watch him hunt himself. hes well keen like and it looks like he smiling when hes working

    i think a dog that comes back when called when its chasing big game, truely isnt a game dog. id just be happy my dog could take a deer. as your dog had probably never chased a deer before it was probably so pumped with adrenline it was blocking out your calls.

    just wondering if anyone has ever or would ever eat fox?? a mate of mine said that he wouldnt eat any animal that ate flesh so i was just wondering like. i reckon id give it a go. or has anyone ever feed it to their dogs?? strange question i no but i was just curious to find out
