i actually respect someone who chooses to and lives this way and to be honest i think that it would be a really interesting way of life

theres a man a couple of villages away from me and he has an 18stone english mastiff and apparantly he carrys a knife with him when he walks it cause he says if it attacks something or someone the only way he could stop it would be to cut it throat i dont understand what the big attraction is to big dogs like this is, if you can control it then fair play but it u cant, dont bother getting a big powerful dog

il be running 3 males next season and it just crossed my mind that there could be rivalry between them. but then if they no that you the top dog i dont think it should be a problem

ive got 2 new pups. thats them pictured at 10weeks old they are 14" and 13.5" and they are just under 11weeks

dont agree with shooting as i think that sometime if you dont get a clean hit the animal can escape and will die slowly somewere and you cant find it again

i think it depends on what the owner uses the dog for, like it seems that people with gun dogs tend to boot the f**k out of there dog it is doesnt do what its told (i no not all gun people are like this). i think it tend to be a male macho thing. my lurcher doenst need to be hit i just need to raise my voice and it nos its done wrong. were as nothing works for my staffy so ive just giving up on her lol

that many people have these dogs that its now gone past looking hard with one as lots of people have them. i cant comment on them as i havnt had and worked one but, each to there own. until youve worked a lurcher of every cross numerous times i dont think anyone you can comment on which cross is better

i would collect a pup at about 7 weeks, but il be holding on to my litter aslong as possible so the pups are better developed and i no im keeping "hopefull" the best pup -
i wouldnt take him off bones. my dog ate bones since a pup and still does and he 14months old. the only way i think that this could affect him is if you were to get him to bite something and play rough tug of war with it. but even then the chances of his teeth getting out of place in minimum. if he gonna have a correct bite, hes gonna a correct bite. if hes not, hes not simply as this is just my own opinion and other may say different atb

i remember reading an article in country mans weekly about it .thats why you get brindle greyhounds and whippets, the brindle comes from the old bulldogs that used to be crossed with the running dogs when it was illegal to own a pure bred greyhound unless you were a noble man. bull was put into greyhounds cause they were losing their gameness. thats were the different colours came from i read this in the poachers companion. its got lots of articles and fantastic stories that are hundreds of years old

im so very very sorry please enlighten me with your vast knowledge of hunting so me my humble self can maybe learn a thing or two instead of playing with soft toys and ornaments to help satisfy my growing curiosity in dogs farmers and furry creatures as at the moment im not sure weathyer i want to kill,kiss or play naughty with them i havnt got a vast knowledge in hunting as im realititivy new to it, but i like the majority of others come on here to learn and better our knowledge in running dogs. not to read f*****g shit like this -
