very nasty those carpet burns, especially on the knees and elbows but i'm not going into that now!

welcome loose cannon,i'm also from denby into dogs and ferrets but nothing against guns lol

18mm rubber stable mats with straw on top,always kept mastiffs too and find the mats stop them getting sore elbows etc. and the lurchers love them,i also leave a mat out on the concrete run and they always lie on it when they're outside.

he's still very young,i lamped mine with older dogs and he soon learnt to retrieve from them. i'd try working him with another more experienced dog but i'd leave him a couple of months first.

how old is he and how is he bred? i had a young dog that did similar for a while but he grew out of it the more he did

hi ,i have a 6 yr old 3/4 saluki xghd bitch good hare dog pre ban. last yr i bred her with a ch non ped whippet ,hoping to produce a small fast rabbiting dog, i think whippets are great dogs but wanted one with that extra gear when needed.the bitch i kept back is 7mths old and caught her first rabbit 1 week ago.i am also training her at blidworth to race for a bit of fun.she is 28lb and 20"tts at the mo when do they race whippets at blidworth, i'm at denby and my mate has 2 good lurchers at ravenshead (right next to blidworth)

no don't think so i, i once ask my vet if i could inject a mastiff bitch to bring it into use but he said no (i ask him because we just give the mares a shot of prosoglandin and they come in)

i think you must have just driven a bad one lol! i go nowhere under mph, also have the lock up checkerplate back on which is great for concealing things

don't suppose there's a right and a wrong,just a matter of preference. sheep dogs herd and chase sheep all day but they don't get to eat them, they still come out keen to work the next day.
