aaaahhhh somebody with an s400 and multishot. what are they like (the multishot) any good. is that the one by rowan engineering. iv heard mixed stories about them. i would love one that doesnt need manually moved inbetween each shot but dont know if one exists.

i'm very new to precharged airguns as i only have a spring one. but a freind of mine had a similar problem he used one of those pumps to fill his but he wasn't using the filter. what do yo use to fill the guns with? We use a divers bottle but we did use a hand pump for a while but it was too much like work using it before you pull the valve off is there not a release valve that will let the air out of tube. the high pressure in the tube is what s making it hard to get off one thinks

thanks alot. i have her trained to stay and sit on command. saying that she does sometimes go an extra couple of feet. so i should pull her back to where she was when i gave the command. ok. think iv got it shall give it my best shot.

im taking my air rifle back to the shop i got it from for some work on it. anyway i will be going on the train to lancaster. i dont really want to jump on with it just in my gun case. shall i try and stick it in a hold all or something. there is a little transport police office at my station. shall i tell them i have the gun, if so will they allow me on the train. i will not have any pellets on my person btw that would be just stupid

hey there, a while ago i posted asking for advice on how to train my whippet staff to retrieve game. so far i have progressed to getting her to retrieve a single dummy (t shirt stuffed in a sock). she can now retrieve from rough ground. pretty efficiently. i have recently been teaching her direction. she seemed to get the grasp of ithat from the first lesson. my next step will to be add some pigeons wings onto the dummy. once i get my gun back i will get this done. basically i am just giving an update on where i am upto for those who helped me out and a big thank you to those people. hopefull

yeh they are out of season. i think. you can also only shoot pheasants with the persmission of the land owner. if your going to shoot them i would keep quiet about it on this site

Hello mate i bought a multi shot for my s400 6 weeks ago, and ive never looked back i know they are self indexing but they are easy to use and fit it saves you going in your pounch for a pellet after every shot. 6 shot for 2.2 and 8 shot for 1.77. I hope this has helped if not go on airarmsownerclub.com theres some good reports on there about them. bloody hell your supposed to say their sh*te so i dont have to dish out another 50 quid on my gun. cheers bud jus kidding. i heard the pellets fall out and all sorts when eg look up into a tree at maybe a pigeon

i have looked into getting a multi shot mag for my s400 the only one i can find is made by rowan engineering. i mentioned it to my local gun smith and he said he hasnt heard great reports infact he told me not to bother. Grim i believe you mentioned you were after one in a post a bit ago. have you got one yet and have you heard any different.

my s400 was running at just shy of 10 ft/lbs sh*t i know. got it sorted now at 11.5. air arms are being extra careful these days apparently

how many shots will he get out of one fill though. i thought they only did like 3 shots. correct me if im wrong those sort of guns are way out of my league. with any air rifle that is going to kill at 100 yrds i think you are going to have to take a divers tank with you and just refill every so many shots. can i just ask are the council going to have to pay for this new gun you will have to get.

i probably would but i wouldnt consider it a gun for regularly rabbiting with at that power. thing is at a £400 plus gun new one would expect more than that.

another case of air arms sending guns out that are way low on power. i was getting my air rifle (s400) sorted with some studs for a sling and i asked him to crono it while it was there. it was reading as UNDER 10. so its going to cost me about 30 quid to get it sent away to get it put upto about 11.5. im glad i havent taken it out rabbiting yet it would of seriously pissed me off if it didnt kill a bunny straight off. iv only used it on woodies and rats so far. just thought id let of some steam
