you can buy citrenella oil witch is a fly repellent in eiver candels or what iv started doing is getting the oil form and watering it down and spraying the tops of hutches and around the ferret area.also good for dog kennels.

she probly was talking about that, nowonder iv never heard of slugworm then.the vets can f**k themselves they aint geting a score of me. -
alright everyone just been told by someone about the slime of slugs being dangerous to dogs at the moment.iv never heard of this before but she said she was in the vets and they sold her a type of dab thing that you just dab on there backs and this is supposed to stop the slime from doing any damage.just wondering if anyone can give anymore infornmation about it or if you have even heard it, or is it just the vets trying for more money out your pocket.cheers.

thorpe lee was the lake.yeah went to walton and the bloke was good as gold, went in and said im just starting out and he had me there for at least an hour showing me everything i would need to get going then he gave me a good deal on some gear,wish i never bought it now because iv just been given reels two rods bivvy bed chair and a box full to the brim with everything you need.good advice though mackem managed to blag some freebes from walton so cant all be bad.roll on tuesday, back out with the new gear.

got myself a bit of gear togethor today, went over a lake by me with a mate who knows what he was doing so he said he would show me the ropes.He put his two rods out and i only had the one to put out but still fancied my chances.half an hour in and me mates alarm goes then the second goes off so he said i could play one , soon as i picked it up my alarm goes mad, so f****d his of out of it and went to me own rod.Pulled in my first carp only about 8/9 pound he said but still good feeling.first ever rig i tied myself to so wernt all bad.might of been smaller, only a guess on weight.

spent all my time over the pits in the summer swimming in them and just f*****g about, shoulda watched me mates when they was all at it.are they alright blokes in davies angling because i was in there ages ago and they seemed like they couldnt be botherd.

i want to get into doing a bit of carp fishing, went with my uncle the other day and since then aint been able to stop thinking about it.never really been into it before but the ferreting seasons out so thought id try and have ago, didnt catch anything but got a couple of bites and a go at trying to land some and now im desparate to get going.can anyone give me some advice on some good stuff to start out with and point me in the right way to get going.went on climaxtackle.com and the stuff seemed pretty good prices but i wouldnt no were to begin.any help.cheers.

well there aint that many estates by me i have to travel far out to all my permission and hunting ground. i was wondering if there was a website or something with information about any local shoots so i can save on deisel money driving about looking all day.cheers.

i dont know whether this is in the right section but ill try anyway.What i want to know is is there anyway of me getting involved in any type of beating for next season, iv never done it before but would like to have go.Is there any websites or places i could get information regarding this.

Im talking up to 20 yards, its very accurate at close range and seems to be powerful enough to dispatch rabbits. I dont know if they are making them less powerful now? It really depends on your permission I suppose? Ive got great permission where I can sit in the motor and wait til they are within shooting range. Ive also got a BSA XL Lightening which I use up to 35 yards and its brilliant! Thats my favorite if the truth be known This was on sunday morning. But my little ratcatcher has its uses as seen this morning! my lightening spot on to.good little guns

alrite mate, what sort of distance were you then because im intrested in getting one myself but got talking to some one and they were telling me they have reduced the power of the new ratcatchers that are now being sold.Notsure how true this is but would like to no if it would be worth getting one.
