Is there a chance that you have switched to RAW setting instead of jpeg? If this is the case your PC may not be able to see them, (although it should if you have the relevant Canon software on your PC) but the camera will show the little jpeg preview on the rear screen. matey i think you may have sussed it i am on raw so i'll have a play & see if i can get it to work. let you know how i go on cheers

the cable is fine it imported 2 pics taken on a different occasion, i was wondering whether while setting the camera up i may have altered something by mistake

i dont think so as if i take the card out it says no card & i can't see the pics but i could be wrong, the camera's a canon 350D

just tried that kay but it just says there are no pics on the camera thanks anyway i'll have to give the card reader a go

i'm hoping someone can put me out my misery i took some pic's last week & went to put them on the PC via the usb there was 2 pics already on from a earlier walk which trans fared no problem but not the most recent so i tried again & the import wizard said there was no pics on the device yet i can review them on the camera.As you may have guessed i'm new to all this & kind of feeling my way in so any help would be greatly appreciated.ATB Pritch

i have a jrt free to a pet home very affectionate crackin personality but shite as a worker i will say again PET HOME if anyone is intrested i'm in the lancs will travel for the right home. will make someone a crackin pet lives in or out 5 year old sound with people & other dogs ATB Pritch edit to add it's a dog now gone
