    these rabbits may not have had many dogs behind them but don't be fooled into thinking they didn't know what a lamp was they get shot at regularly & don't just sit there when the lamp goes on then there there are the ones that you can't see are sat just on the hole & just drop in there are holes everywhere anyone who thinks it's just a matter of sending your dog out & it picking up a squatter would be sadly mistaken

    Collies/ Bedlington terriers and sundry other dogs have been bred to do totally different jobs to a lurcher for generations yet they are added and bring qualitys to a lurcher line. What do pointers bring?, leg, nose, stamina and to be honest compared to a lot of lurchers I've seen, brain. And aren't there pleanty of tried and tested, for generations, breeds that bring leg, nose stamina to the "Lurcher" table, such as Deerhound, Saluki, etc ? I'll ask again. What will a Pointer bring to the table that recognised breeds can't ?? Cheers. well the one i have heard about have

What you say bout the more bidderble collie types makeing a come back makes good senve to me.owning both saluki and collie types in todays laws. Some quality dogs in fine condition iv seen today that will not only hold their own but I think will excell anywhere on any ground in this country. Just dryed out an got warm lol.     Well in a way i could do exactly as you say above Whin ..as Swift is out of my own lurcher dog Jack who wasn't half a bad jukel in my own humble opinion and her dam is out of Tomo's coursing bred bitch who has got excellent bloodlines in her breeding and obviously i have Don out of the Collie and he's coming along ok upto press anyways ...so maybe the way forward is mate those two together then and the job will be a good un ...in fairness it really does depend on the ground you intend to work the dogs on and the quarry imo?
