Sounds like you learned respect at an early age.Thats what we all should be doing, teaching the youngsters some values about hunting instead of justifying killing out of season as much as possible and then putting it down to pest control.Good lokk this coming WINTER.

i've tried to hold off, but its just got too much............. i've got numpties i have to work with, that give me shit all the time about hunting, cos they're veggies and anti hunting meat eaters, and they dont even put up as much resistance as threbb............ set the fuckers up . .get them all sacked lol You wouldn't believe the shitty things that have happened over the years..... some quite funny, like computer printed pics of a baby rabbit saying "you killed my mum" underneath, amusing to say the least....then other little things stuck up on staff notice boards, st

They dont have Hare drives in summer though do they. Knit picking now!!!! Get real will ya......some of the permission people have are required to go on it all year round, the farmers see a pregnant or milky doe killed, as 6 less to feed when fully grown, glad you have so many offers of permission that you can afford to turn them down, they're few and far between for us to do the same.......... but we have some places that want us to do some quarry and not others, what should we say to that, sorry but we kill everything on site!!! I know a lot of farmers and get on well with them.Has you say they are just trying to make a living,but my whole point in the beginning was not about control but about people who think they are hunting legitamate quarry that they can bragg about on this sight when actually a real sporting man would rather wait until his quarry has either matured or finished rearing its family and has become fit and streetwise before going out to try and take it.What would you think of say THE WATERLOO CUP BEING HELD IN JUNE? Somehow I think it would have lost its prestige.

Good man. Good luck.You dont need to wedge youre tong up a farmers arse to get work for youre dogs.Where I have permission ive got because they like me and i them not because they have a hold over me and anyway those that withhold permission are usually in bed when im out and stuck in a tractor or office during the day. Im not a poacher i never have been because i only hunt wild animals not pheasants etc and i do it for fun.

well as for lamping in the closed season as you put it .on rabbit their is not one look it up and you will find an awnswer .rabbits breed almost year round now with all the changes in weather .and rabbits are a pest that need controll if you saw some of my permission me being their 7 days a week wouldnt iradicate them and all they do is ruin the landowner land he works for a living tHERE IS NO SEASON ON HARE OR FOX EITHER AND I WILL SAY AGAIN IAM TALKING ABOUT SPORT NOT CONTROL.KEEP UP but ... .... ... for alot of people thats what its about - CONTROL OF THE POPULATION . Why dont you just get a job and go to the shops for food like anyone else youre not Tarzan for christsake. Yes and have you ever thought how that food is produced, your meat,eggs, milk and veg is farmed and i reckon those farmers have had to do some vermin control. Lol I work 6 days a week almost every week, I happen to enjoy eating the game I and it means thats my dogs and ferrets keep themselves in food. I'm hardly the only one on here to eat game they catch. wOULD YOU EAT PHEASANT AND PARTRIDGE OUT OF SEASON ASWELL MUCKER. Most people exercise there dogs before they start climbing the walls.

the estate had a grant, i was working under my boss so i done as i was asked. Its always best to use guards because it only takes one or two rabbits or hares or deer to wreck a planation.But my point isnt really about controlling pests its about people who cant see the diffrence and brag about summer lamping with dogs.

do you have any permission? if so what do you tell the land owner when he wants rid of rabbits ect.... eeerrrmm, im just letting your rabbit population breed up so i can have more fun in winter. Ive got a lot of permission and have had for well over 20years.I wouldnt say that to a farmer because i dont think he would like it. Has ive already said I AM IN IT FOR SPORT. Doing farmers bidding is not my game but i seem to get by thanks. Packs of beagles and foxhounds dont go out out of season either but they dont lose permission because of it because they have the respect of the farmers.Who do

Thats what i mean. They go out killing when its easiest to pick on cubs and leverets and then come on here bragging theyve had a good night. Cubs and leverets are stupid enough in autumn never mind in summer and these riflemen dont even get out of the truck if they can help it never mind walk for five or six hours in hard weather. What sort of press would we get if hunts started going out all year round.

Aren't leverets left to starve too? i aint shot a hare in a couple of years mate, and the fields we go on round here with the lurchers aint got a lot of them mostly rabbits, but ive planted a few thousands trees and see what happens when hares and deer get in and you need to go round and plant a few thousand again except this time you need to tube all the hardwoods and it pisses you off to say the least so like i said if they need to be shot/controlled in an area same with deer then i agree fully that it should be done just i think it should be done right, hares dont intrest me th
