  3. went in my local meat market today,saw some rabbit at £2.50 a pound,couldn,t believe it, i,ve been giving em away for free . also it said..rabbit,fresh then frozen,,imported from china. do we not have enough in this country or what..me thinks the stallholders may pay a decent price for some fresh bunnies, so i may be able to corner the local market...........
  4. hi guys..been ferreting for many years but never used longnets..the permission i,ve just aquired is taylor made for longnetting..just need to know how difficult it is for a beginner, obviously expertese comes with experience. any advice would be very welcome ..cheers .kev.............

  6. hi mate,depends on the farmer really. in a perfect world ,we would rather leave them to breed,but the farmer wose crops there decimating may want you to clear them all year round.if you won,t do it no doubt someone else will......
  7. hi everybody i,m new to the site i,m kev. just wondered if anyone could help me out, i,ve been ferreting for quite a few years,but i,v only ever used the standard 15 ft ferret finder.recently i spotted a locator collar on a car boot stall(no box though).thought i,d buy the collar as a spare,but can,t get the bugger to work,think it may be a micro collar.could the problem be,that a standardbox won,t pick up a micro collar,or is the collar just knackered.
  8. hi; i,m new to the site and finding it very interesting. i,ve got some permission nr york, and havn,t had a single mixi this season. yet over in the dales it,s rife..are the farmers still putting down the desease.
