  1. its got no hope of getting in. its just my bird she's absolutly mad she trys grabbing it through the mesh. ive put a 3&1/2ft high fibreglass board all the wayround now though. i just dont want to find her with a leg missing or worse. i know what your saying. im just looking at electric fence's on ebay now. i think il give on a blast see how it goes. and cheers for the info. this site is mint for new info
  2. she was just distraught i think. iv got a live trap but like you say its the dispatching it side of things. iv got barbed wire along the top of my fence but it still manages to get in. as for the woman shes had a concrete run built now but its my harris im bothered about. ive put light sensors, alarms up barb, i cant really do anything else but kill it.
  3. a fox has for the last few weeks bein gettin rather brave in trying its luck in my back garden. a neighbour of mine had a rex rabbit that was her kids and the little red was hungry. 1 distraught neighbour asked me to kill it but i dont know if im in my legal right. can anyone tell me if i can kill it. the council said there is nothing thay can do. a frind has got a gun but cant use that either. poisen is not an option because of the amount of cats that would probably take the bait before the fox does and as for my staffy bein left out well...... theres a little thing called a ban... please can
  4. what was the infection from? if its the cold weather i found some really good tubular heaters on ebay. they start from about £10 plus postage.

  6. best thing to get water into them is soak there food in it. defrost your chicks, rats, mice and quail ect in warm water and it gives them plenty of water to be gtting on with. a good size bath in the aviary helps. as for there food dont just feed them on chicks after all how would your body react after a month of eating the same old thing. plenty of mice rats quail and chicks. this is how i work mine out for them. monday 2 chicks, tuesday 1 chick and 2 mice, wednesday 2 mice, thursday 1 rat, friday 2 chicks, saturday NOTHING AT ALL and sunday a small quail but all birds differ in the amount th

  10. hi. could anyone put me in touch with someone as near to stoke on trent as possible who breeds spar for sale or someone who is sellin one. id prefer a female. but either will do. also i would rather a creche reared rather that an imprint but again im not fussy as long as theyre in good health. i already have a female harris and kestrel. the harris for bunnys, my kesrel for pleasure of flying her but i need a spar for magpies and crows at my mates lambing farm.

  14. so what what do you fly like budgie sounds like it the guy is right though mate it is. i got caught doin it and was fined in court 850 quid for hunting from a mechanically propelled vehicle as they put it and then they pushed for a ban on me keeping birds. haha got blown straight out the window as it wasnt my birds that were in danger. just be careful owd!

  16. i put my H H on bow perch every morning in garden with bath then put in mews on night time unless below freezing then bring in house you can get a tubular greenhouse heater off ebay for 12 quid mate. ive got one and it does the job well. got a bit fed up with my lady moaning every morning

  20. what are you feeding him/her? meat or dry. meat usually gets em like that. try glutn free dry mixer in with a bit of meat

  22. ayup lad. im new to this site to. i used to be into the whole rifle thing until i bought a dog, ferret and hawk. oh joy! my advise to ya is get some sort of insurance (basc) if your asking for prmission with that your more likely to get it. and offer to help the land owner with a few odd jobs.   23. hi im new to the site and just introducing myself. im dave, 27 with a female harris hawk and i love hunting with her. im also looking for more land to fly her over near stoke on trent so if anyone would let me i would be very greatful.
