made this from an old gas bottle and the middle box off a cavalier. first you got to let all the gas out for obviouse reasons. the way i did it was unscrewed the valve out and then filled the bottle to the top with water to ensure every little bit of gas was gone. then grinded a hole in the bottom 4"x4" and welded a few bolts across for the grill. then cut a 6"x6" square in the front for the door which i welded on with some old hinges. the last bit was cutting the 4"x4" hole in the top and weld the hollowed out back box to it (or you could use and old steel drain pipe) then in with the wood an

a friend of mine who keeps his pigeons at an allotment uses 2 of these things. maybe those of you who have problems with your lofted birds could follow suit. he hasnt had a problem with with bop's for 2 years since he's used them only the odd on not returning after a race thats usually a few hundred miles away so not bad going. http://www.dazer.com/guard-n-eyes.jsp there good for those who keep canary's and finches etc
