chaos is right mate this new kestrel i got had it and the meds are cracking. the guy i had her off a few months back said it was her moult but a close inspection of her wings showed the exact same as the pics there. i got all heating running through my mews to prevent it and it works fine. keeps all 4 mews 4degrees above freezing. hope shes okay for ye matey.

wing tip oedema mate or another version of it is dry gang green ithink its called. check to see if theres any flesh missing or rotted away. hows her/his flying doin, is there any difference as youve noticed. frosty weather does it to birds especially when they have got wet.

ah now this is the thing. the guy who i had her off has never had her hooded and he had her 9 years so im just introducing her to it now which she isnt to impressed about. but shes got to have it. iv not got a jacket so i use an old towel with velcro straps round it. oh well looks like i will have to try again. i will put a piccy on tomoz of her beak. i will try to find the one of it broke too but i not 100% sure where it is.

hahaha. i willl take one in the morn mate with better camera. it grown back really nice but iv only got electric file to do it and she f*cking hates it. ive ordered some normal ones off ebay but iv been waiting a week now for em. are you any where near me?

Hey up mate, im genuinely curious as to what your asking here? Obviously the other falconers will know what you mean, but i dont know anything about hawks at all so what is it you need to have done mate? Cheers Gaz she needs her beak trimming. but she's an absolute pain in the arse. coping is the term you looking for i know. but the lad who asked would of asked again what it meant if id said that.

granted, if someone was caught carrying that around on its own, the police may have something to say about it, but if your carrying that, plus all your other ferreting gear, plus in my case my BPCA card, proving Im a bona-fide pest controller, then I doubt they would even ask :clapper:

i had a staff bitch that worked very well in the bushes and even tried to go to ground once or twice. i never took her perpously to work it was bt accident down the local park where she flushed 3 rabbits out and killed 2 rats and one was out of the water. cracking little dog. but they arnt all like that so the russel would be #1 choice or even 2 of em would be better. -
go have a little look around and see what you can get. but i would go in the day and have a look to see the area better. and where you mite think the best places are over there. and get the farmer a bottle of something it go's down well and shows him that you greatfull for the permission. :yes: :clapper: :yes:
