I agree with CARREG , the most entertaining thing at any show are the handlers. I always watch crufts when its on telly just to see the handlers, not the dogs trotting around the ring. Overweight ladies in tight fitting trousersuits running around the ring, there's never a pound in the right place :sick: :sick:

Not sure what's worse, Labour getting back in or being mistaken for an anti in chat last night. I was unable to get on to forum/gallery or even log on, but managed to get on chat no bother. It was my first time in any chatroom and clicked on "log in" and found myself in the chat as a guest Was gutted when i eventually did get logged on to find in the shoutbox i was an anti Seems like chat is open to anti abuse if you allow none registered people to drift in. And who was that "ladyboy" anyway.

OK, so 99.9% of MP's are only in it for their own ends. And yes, regardless of who gets elected, most of the lads on here are going to carry on as usual, although a little more discreetly next season. But forget the various legal challenges by the CA and whoever else, none of them will be successful. The only hope of over turning the Ban is by getting Mr Blair and his chums out. Couldn't agree more Spade. Although in the last 4 weeks of campaigning i've only heard hunting mentioned once. So much for it being an issue at the election. But do go out and vote, it's the least we can do.

Nice photos Lamper. We get about 20-25 Chaffinches come in the garden every day and seem to spend the whole time fighting. As for nests in unusual places, the Swallows generally nest in the out buildings, last year one nested on top of an upturned broom, which kept the kids amused, but they don't half leave some mess behind. :sick: sh1t everywhere.

great photos pete, just the kind of Rabbit my dogs might have a chance of catching. -
The fields are alive with rabbits at the moment, dozens of them everywhere. While out with the dogs yesterday i saw 5 quite young ones all much the same to look at, apart from one. This one had a white front right leg as far up as its shoulder. I'm sure its a throw back to one of its ancestors getting together with a domestic/tame rabbit at some time, but was wondering if any of you guys have come across oddly marked rabbits on your travels.

Don't think for one minute if the Tories get in that it will ever go back to the way it was. The Hunts will get to ride out with their hounds, much the same as before, but terrier work is unlikely to ever be the same again whoever gets in. Whilst hunting with hounds is seen by most to be the pursuit of respectable law abiding pillars of society,terrier work is viewed somewhat differently. Looks like the Lurcher lads will be O.K. So long as you don’t intentionally go after hares or foxes, if one gets in the way while you are after Rabbits then that’s just unfortunate, as long as you weren’t after hares/foxes from the start. A difficult one to prove. Terrier work, different kettle of fish. If you get caught with a Terrier to ground, a spade and a locator, I guess they would say you went out with the intention to dig Fox. If you are out exercising your Terrier and it goes to ground with out your encouragement then you have to get it back somehow. A tricky one that, because

EDRD mag No150 page7, RE:letter from T.V.EDWARDS. 1st April 2004, saw news item about the government allowing the continued slaughter of animals for Hallal and Kosher meat. I honestly thought it was an April Fools. It wasn't. Since then i've sent many, many emails to the BBC Online debates and Fivelive when they have been talking about banning hunting, Pointing out the cruelty involved in the slaughter of animals in this way, none have ever been printed/broadcast.
