  1. Air Arms would get my vote. For the budget you've got i'd be tempted to go second hand. Give the classifieds on Airgun bbs a once over, often some good stuff on there.
  2. Dogs worrying livestock The Dogs (Protection of Livestock) Act 1953 Under the Dogs (Protection of Livestock) Act 1953 the owner and anyone else under whose control the dog is at the time will be guilty of an offence if it worries livestock on agricultural land. The dog must have been attacking or chasing livestock in such a way that it could reasonably be expected to cause injury or suffering or, in the case of females, abortion or the loss or diminution of their produce. An offence is not committed if at the time of the worrying the livestock were trespassing, the dog belonged to the ow
  3. Ok, if you can't find the drop down menu from "window", try pressing the "Tab" key (above caps lock) this should show/hide all toolbars/pallets.
  4. Also worth a look at some of the links on here. Tutorials
  5. Along the top next to help, click window, on this menu click tools
  6. Have a look here Advice And maybe here Advice or phone them, the numbers on the site. Hope you get sorted, quickly.
  7. With LACS recently setting up a prosecution unit, to work closely with the police and the CPS, with the aim of getting as many "illegal hunters" to court as possible, i would say they were as determined as ever. And i believe david2363 is spot on with regards the Tory's. If you're with a registered pack, i think things will go back to as near normal as possible. However, the rest of us will be left out in the cold, in my opinion. I can't recall ever seeing on TV or hearing on the radio anything other than members of the local hunt being interviewed, never ever seen someone with a cou
  8. Moll, what your dad needs to do is give up being a British citizen and move to some far off land. Then, make his way back to Blighty ( the more illegal, the better) claim asylum, and state the swords are of cultural and religious significance. Sorted, in fact he'll probably be able to claim a grant to have them mounted on the wall. As for an 81yr old British citizen, you've got no chance.
  9. you looking forward to it then ? its just something you pick up from the internet same as lol lmao pmsl.... this is the firt time i have come accross a forum not likeing it. Looking at the above comment i now see why you use text talk, please pay more attention in class next week.

    CATS!!!!

The best i can come up with at the moment is the 1971 Animals Act, The keeper of the dog is not liable where the damage is due wholly to the fault of the person suffering it or if the livestock were killed or injured on land onto which they had strayed and either the dog belonged to the occupier or its presence was authorised by the occupier. Would imagine the same goes for cats. Just found some more light reading Cats and the law

    CATS!!!!

LB, if your dogs kill a cat in your garden, and you haven't enticed it in or hindered it's escape I'm fairly sure you wouldn't get into bother. The same as if my Budgie flew into a neighbour's garden and a cat killed it, the cat wouldn't be in bother. However, in a lane or field or any public place really it could be viewed as not having your dog under control.
  14. Now where are the do-gooders who like to prosecute people that are cruel to Foxes. Good old RSPCA Abandonment of Animals Act 1960 It is an offence under this Act for a person having control or charge of an animal to deliberately and without good cause abandon it permanently or otherwise in circumstances likely to cause unnecessary suffering. Because of the definition of "animal" in this Act, non-domestic animals which have been taken into captivity are covered by this legislation. Therefore, an offence may be committed under section 1 of this Act if a released rehabilitated wi
  15. Of course you might find what you want by clicking on "My Computer" then right click on the CD-ROM icon and choose properties, then on the AutoPlay tab.

  17. Just heard this on the radio, unbelievable. Bet nowt happens beyond, "We will put a system in place to ensure this doesn't happen again." On the other hand, if you or i had done this..... you know the rest.
  18. Either phone or email AA and explain the problem and as Mad Al said, I'm sure they will help you out. On the other hand, if you can get them local, then would probably work out cheaper then the postage. Quote from AirgunBBS "The other day i noticed that the 'O' ring in my 410 magazine was snapped. I emailed AA explaining this and they said to send a sae to receive some replacement 'O' rings free of charge."
  19. Reading all the above i think Santa left most of my pressies at other peoples houses. Got a load of beer off my sis, she's been buying beer for me since i was 14, it's good having a sibling 7 years older.
  20. Echo Mad Als comment, if you can't be sure of the kill don't pull the trigger, that applies to all quarry. Shot a few pheasants lately, and a great deal of pleasure is gained from watching and waiting. And if the head shot isn't on, then they live for another day. Although Canada Geese will come under pest control and not game birds, the same applies.

  22. Have a GOOD read through this, there are thumbnails down the left hand side. Read this Is it the disc that came with the Laptop ? If not and its already been activated on another PC you may come across problems. All the best, and be patient
  23. I agree with oldskool, if you only have 6 months to serve, you're best putting your efforts into finding someone to take you on to see the rest of your time out. "In the case of employed apprentices, if the employer is not able to continue with the apprenticeship, either through redundancy or where the relationship between the apprentice and the employer has broken down, the employer’s terms and conditions of employment will apply" A few years back a lad found himself locked out of the place he was serving his time. He had 9 months left to serve and ended up working where i work via
  24. Dead right, she didn't even like having them in the house. She never told him not bother fetching them around in case he stopped bringing the Pheasants.
