new year so cleaned out the work shop and found this lot iv never finnished . there all reclaim spring steel nice high carbon . ther still anealed(soft) so you can work them as much as you want . all the hard bits are dont .cut . anealed , drilled and descaled . some have early grinding but none are finnished . i dont want to got any further with them as im doing more damascus and pattern weld blanks at the moment . £30 posted the lot . with some elbow grease and sand paper/files you will have some nice knives from them . i can offer a postal heat treat servace for you on these at small

im making blanks this year mostly .from swards axe heads machetes to bush craft down to pocket knives and anything inbetween ,just ask if you have a design . materials will be from plain carbon to pattern welded and damascus . il add some pics soon . im aiming to give good hand made knife blanks from good steel , at proper prices cheap to top end .

over all length 12" blade and handle both 6" blade is W1 with 1/3 grind that is blended .i made the makume its raw as has not been beaten to divelope pattern , made of copper brass (its to shinie but colour will divelope with time due to tarnish !) 3 layers of buffalo horn handle with brass liners and pins . no sheath as i run out of horn . up for sale once i pay my fee on here but dont hold back ! ha ha

thanks we kept the one with black micarta handles and used it yesterday and its the shit as a working knife nice long lasting edge and very safe and comfortable handle control . well pleased with my own work ha ha .better than any bloodt bush craft knife . dont like the design of them to much like a chiesel with a cutting edge ! -

there properly heat treated in a gas forge . interupted quench from thick warm sump oil to water the tempered at 200C for 2 hours . there hard beleave it !! pm away inbox is emptied !! -

yes mate easy stuff to get . the oil will swell the grain to close it . but it looks and feels better with a bit of open grain . -

sand as normal soak it in danish oil for a few hours then run the buffer over it !! piece of piss . -

hello guys this is my first attempt at making a "batch" of knives , i wanted to make some cheap sellables for xmass sales, and to try some new equipment / materials , and some new styles !! there all from reclaim leaf spring steel (apart from the one pictured with brass bolsters in stainles thats a reworked pat mitchel knife) there all £50 each on. i tried to take pics as i went to tell the story of there making . 1. raw metal blanks 2. anealed drilled and ground 3. gringing off the scale starting to look like something . 4. handles fitted polished, sharpend and sheaths made

hello . just wanted to show you a falconers knife set i made .(i used to fly bop but having a breake) its a dispatcher with out any shape edges other than the point , with file work and brass pins . then there is a 4" safety knife the design is so that the bird can not grab the knife when its on the kill the point tilts away and into the carcase and there is nothing for the bird to grab and cut its feet . its sharp and cuts deep ! im selling this one for £65 posted .

there are threads about EBT lurchers and i think the oz lads did comment . iv got miniature english bull terriers and im gon have a crack at working one or two . dont let the pit bull and x lads give you to much shite about this topic , cos you know there gonna !

hello everyone . this is made from a farriers file , forged on charcoal by myself . finnished by hand with files and sand paper . only a drill and angle grinder was used to rough shape and make pin holes . over all sheath length 18" over all knife length 12 1/2" handle 5" this has leather liners to absorb vibration from chopping . it has scales of black and blue paper micarta and ally 6mm pins and lanyard tube . blade is 7 1/2" long 4.5mm thick and 3.3 cm wide the ballance is at the point of the finger cut out (very happy about that ) has a sort of scadi grind . blade finnish is 120 g

damascus very in quality alot ! its basicly a blend of 2 steels . the higher the carbon content the better this gives you the sharpness. not just any damascus is good enough , and all damascus with rust and tarnish , thats the nature of high carbon steel . heat treating and temper make the blade what it is hard with flexability etc , the harder the steel the sharper it will be for long periods , but the down side is that if you dont know how to sharped properly or dont have the right kit then you will just ruin the blade. the latest products are amasing , a company in europe called damasteel

hello guys i have a few knives and blanks i have made for sale . as follows . canadian style knife sold i would like £150 for this posted to you , please add paypal fee tho ! second is this stainless steel (440) feild knife . its over all length is 71/4" the blade is 3" long and goes from 4mm to 1mm and 3/4"wide . the ballence is at the point of the hump on the under side of the handle . it has brass bolsters and pins and deliberatly ages /distressed cherry wood handles . simple leather sheath . £75 posted to you but please add paypal fees . next is a blank made from 5mm
