    looks bloody good that does , right desission to drop the oak . what you gonna seal the wood with ? tell your mum she needs super glue as well for her nicknack to be back to former glory and you can use that cover the wood and sand back !! you will be buying blanks next !

    brilliant with file work to !!! very impressed ! is the micarta fiberouse ? if so cover in super glue and sand back , if you buff it then it will shine and be more water proof !!

    hold it over the gas ring get it melting and re shape with a spoon then sand flat job done !! i think yours to number 2 mate so the tang will not be a stick . good luck what ever you do mate .

    you are gonna have to burn it in them mate , drill a smaller hole than you need the tang red hot and push it very neatly into the hole for a perfect fit !! you need to keep the blade cold or you will ruin the temper so hold it with pliers in cold tap water with the tang out of the water , try to just get the point of the tang hot . if the tang is a non stick tang (top two) your in trouble .. your gonna need a budget mate although you can do it almost for free , it wont be a good job done . you could allways go ray mears style and get some amber resin from pine trees melt it with a little

    we are gonna x mini ebt with whippet blood for our own use and would like to work on an old time ebt in the future . ours are all DNA tested for ill helth etc and all bar one is athletic (one bitch is very very powerfuly built heavy as hell). i have 3 bitches and a dog and just lined my oldest bitch today for a repeat mating . the son out of the last litter shows gereat promise . good nose sensable and works cover like a bull dozer !!

    brown sauce good call . better than the feric chloride acid i have to work with horrible stuff it is when the knife comes out it smell like burn caps from the kids guns , i like that tho its a nice smell but the black slime that comes off stains your skin .... yeah HP sauce that the way to go paul . im just about to have a steak on a the BBQ !!!

    looks good paul . its a user not a looker but that fine , you will learn lots by using it and it might shape what you do with your next design !! why not try a patina on the bleade next ? you can use branston pickle tomato sauce hotdog mustard . just aply it in some sort of patern on the blade and leave it over night wash off with clean tap water and the acids or vinigar content + vegatable extract will leave a dark pattern on the blade . it looks good . but if you dont like it 600grt paper will rub it off .

    hello im hoping one or two of you are pipe fitters ? i use gas/water metal pipes and fittings as the burner for my forge but need something making up and some tube cutting and threading up .. can anyone help ?

    oh yeah that brings back momories!!! we used to do this all the time as kids and teen agers . my brother actualy had some in a fish tank for years that i had trapped . we even used to make small harpoons and get them like that to . the mesh wants to be strong you will be amased how good they are at break outs!!!! if your carful you can catch them on crab lines like you would at the coast !! we used to go off a pontoon at a trout fishery near us . we had a barbique grill attached to a rope at each corner and cable tie meat in the centre , because we where directly above the "trap" we could

    iv been keeping a close eye on uk wild boar stories etc since they "escaped" sounds like there all over the uk now and the gaps between groups are closing , its only a matter of a few years and they will be uk wide !! im sure some more will "escape" over time and bloodlines will improve . has anyone bumped in to a group while out on a mooch with dog or gun ? i live near some pretty big woodland and im sure if they found there way in there it would be perminant ... we all know something about them , and that they are super agressive when they have young and are wounded . im sure they will be
