  4. Already been that route mate but he won't have none of it he just won't accept it could help and doing bit of research I believe it takes ninety days to take affect , I don't think he got that time .
  5. Well Lads me uncles give it his all he's fought and fought but this last week he's been really unwell ,he was told in hospital l that there's no more treatment they can do, yday left hospital after talking to McMillan nurses to prepare for the inevitable . My mums a hard bitch had a real hard young life left Scotland after her mum and dad died in her late teens bringing four of her younger sisters and John (my uncle ) with her and raised them ,in 31 years I've never seen her shed a tear tonight she broke down in my living room . Heartbroken is an understatement but I knew it was coming .gutte
  6. I won't give them money but If I'm in town in winter I'll grab em a butty and a brew . I know most are prob on the smack or alckys but not all are and end of day it's a few quid that I'll not miss. Wether they appreciate it or not I'm not arsed it makes me feel good .

  8. And there is someone in the riverWhere you looking here
  9. I think that's an orange water trough or something similar .
  10. Sounds like he got the reaction he was looking for
  11. I suppose it all comes down to what some people can afford to pay in fuel . People might not want to turn a £150 pound pup into a £300 . If you got the cash then it's no problem . Working mans prices not when your travelling 500 mile round trip it's not . I like driving it doesn't bother me I get a hell of a lot of miles for ittle cash in my work vehicle so I would travel anywhere in the uk , other people arnt so lucky .
  12. Tbf mate I havnt used a compound for hunting ,I believe a pass through in the engine room using the heads they hunt with is going to leave an animal with massive vital organ damage . Isn't that the aim with rifle or bow ?
  13. It's not a crossbow ! Plenty of deer and animals have been injured using rifles ,it's all about shot placement you should know that ! Unfortunately this time he injured the animal ( it happens to us all you said ) .what makes you think that a compound bow shooting at 350fps hasn't got the capabilities of a clean kill is it because you think using a rifle is the only way or is it because he fecked up and the Animal was injured for 40hrs . comparing it to shooting a fox with a sub 12 is ridiculous as is using words like "barbaric " and "sick and "twisted " when you clearly don't have a clue
  14. Anyone who has ever hunted has wounded something Joe, but most of us don't use inappropriate weapons. Using a crossbow is akin to using a sub 12 on a fox, cruelty, nothing else. It was wearing a collar for a reason, it was a pride male in the prime of life, no reason to cull it, no excuses. It was lured away from a safe area so a rich bloke could try and kill it in a barbaric method just to have a trophy to hang on the wall. To me and a lot of others that is sick and twisted. Absolute bollox you obviously no fek all about the type of bow used
