  1. hi longdog no not realy the garden is pretty small the garage is quite a size
  2. hi all hoping some one can help.my 2 boys are pestering me for a dog and as im into rabbit hunting i was thinking which one would be best for retrieving the rabbits however as i work on the oil rigs for 2 weeks at a time and my wife is full time at school the dog would be indoors on his own for most of the day is this unfair on the dog or would he get used to a good walk in the morning and the same at night when the boys come in from school of course i would be there for my 2 weeks home leave and the week ends my wife and 2 boys would be there its the week days thats the problem advice
  3. shenners hi there as powerfull as any sub 12 flb air rifle.i just got myself a light hunter with a sixteen shot mag and yes i did have problems with the mag so changed it for a plastic one and it is as smooth as my super ten now and as far as accuracy goes no problem putting pellets on top of pellets from 30 yards. i paid £550 for mine but now the mag is sorted i think its money well spent.taking the gun out today let you know how i get on hope this helps mate
  4. Aww Gandalf mate, I think you maybe took what i was saying the wrong way - I weren't being funny or owt. All i was meaning was to give a friendly viewpoint and a hopefully useful suggestion, with regards to the scrim net for scope and rifle, that would help you sort of meld with the background, like? No offence intended chap. With the scope and sticky tape - your choice entirely mate, was just thinking ahead to the future when say, you might wish to sell it on? If that were for instance to happen, then the cleaner it is, the better for you and the price you'd get bud. Al

  9. hi guys/girls got this a week ago a lot easier to carry than the super ten bull had a bit of trouble with the metal mag so changed it for a plastic one now works a treat.will try and christen it on tuesday

  11. hi there next time your sitting in the house doing nothing try getting out the yellow pages farmers section(obviously)and mark all the farms that you would be willing to travel to then go back to the first one and ring it up and go through them all i guarentee you will get at least one that says yes thats how i got one of my permissions and now i do his neighbours as well.usualy they like to put a face to the voice but you will get one that asks you to come along and have a look just be polite on the phone tell him what you want to shoot(rabbits,wood pigeon)and tell him what your goin
  12. hi fv what rifle is that your using if its a falcon have you had any problems with the magazine not loading properly thanks
  13. hi all just bought a falcon ranger light hunter and back to the shop already with the double magazine not indexing properly was having a load of trouble sliding the bolt forward.is this a common fault with falcon air rifles or have i just been unlucky to get a faulty mag.left it with the guy in the shop to sort out any way.

  15. i agree with ferretville you buy what you can afford if you want that particular item if it puts more game in the bag,makes you more comfortable,gives you a bigger buzz go for it.i have just invested in 2 hammocks so myself and the youngster can spend the night up in the woods,nothing to do with hunting but just as an add on to enjoy the sport even more.what ever you think will add to the experience go for it happy hunting

  18. Did you get sorted??? no not home untill friday offshore at the mo be shitfaced when i get home so i will do it on saturday gonna try greasing the o rings first see if that works before i put any glue on let you know what happens happy hunting

  23. hi lads/lasses hope some one can help me here.i unscrewed the buddy bottle on my super ten only to find the cartridge it screws on to came out also never seen the inside of an air gun before so carefully removed the 2 screws and safety switch to get to the inside screwed the cartridge back on to the part it came off and reassembled the gun.put a full buddy bottle back on and everything was fine untill that needed replacing.tried unscrewing it off and the same again the part inside came with it.had to go through the whole thing again.question 1, i
