so does that go for rabbits aswell then your not botherd if you wound them and they escape down the warren and die slowly and painfully.personaly i think you should stay off this site your a liability if as i guess your not going to i suggest you keep what your thinking in your head and not post it on the screen for all to look at especialy anti hunting campaighners

cant go back guys burnt my bridges im afraid.after i spoke to the owner i rang the new manager back and said things i maybe shouldnt have the last thing i said to him before hanging up was "watch your back pal im not finished with you im coming back up to sort you out"had no intention of doing it but it was all i could think of at the time hes robbed me of my permission how i hate him i hope he is still looking over his shoulder wondering when im going to turn up lol

gutted is putting it lightly just lost the best permission i had or probably the best i ever will have.been shooting on this land for 18 months now and got on with the manager realy well.a month ago he told me he had a new job down south but the owner told him to tell me to keep coming up.once he left i contacted his replacement and explained the situation and who i was and asked if it were ok to come up yea he said so off i went met him seemed an ok guy done my thing bagged 4 rabbits and left.rang him up 4 days later for permission to come up and this time he told me to ring the owner as he k

thanks all for the help wish it did help now im more uncertain my biggest worrie is leaving the dog on his own and need one small enough to fit through the cat flap no way would i leave him in the garage all day he needs to be able to get out into the garden so a lab is out of the question so is a springer would love to get a cocker as ive read they dont mind the lonliness but is a cocker to big?i dont know lol but hey thanks to all of you realy apprieciate it cheers

get your self a cocker spainel mate very good at what your looking for i got 2 one 3 year old trained him my self for everything with the air gun he is wow. i work from 7 30am till 5pm 5days a week he is home all day out in the garden these dogs are very good for both air gun and retreiving. he is at the stage now were when i shot my air gun he looks and if i shot some thing he gets it if i miss he looks at me to say give it here lol how old is too old for training a cocker then ie is it best to get them from puppies and would one on his own be ok all day on his own looking forward to

hi all and a happy new year never owned a dog before and as i shoot rabbit and woodies with an air rifle i am hoping to get a dog for retrieval and companionship however i work 2 weeks of every month on an offshore platform my wife works at school and the 2 boys are at school so the dog would be on his own from 8am till 4 pm he would be walked in the morning and at night when the boys come home from school and morning afternoon and night when im home its just the week days thats the problem when im away what i have is a large garage with a cat flap at the b

could ask them celtic but i dought it members would be up in arms i will just have to work around them i suppose but thanks any way hows your bull barrel doing ?still enjoying it?i sent mine down to john bowkett he blue printed it and put a large bolt action on for me now i can palm it rather than use my fingers firing quieter,and getting more shots to the charge money well spent

hi lads/lasses might be a daft quetion but i honestly dont know are squirrel active after day light hours ie any one lamped them just got some new permission on a golf course where they are over run with them problem is i dont feel comfortable walking around the course through the day carrying the gun when it is busy with golfers even though i have the permision letter in my pocket just incase any one asks but i would much rather go after dark would i be wasting my time any help would be great thanks guys
