Spot on I think it was the OP that over-reacted, NOT the horse owner.... One person threatens to shoot another persons pet because it was potentially causing harm to their pet, and gets threatened with his LIFE. Lets put this into perspective; no animal is worth the life of a person, and threats of this nature should be taken seriously by the law. If you don't already have a SGC or FAC, you will never get one now - and quite rightly so. It's all very well saying what you think the effect of your dog on the horse was or is, but you obviously know feck all about horses. wha

If you repeat what you said in court, there is a good chance that you will be off on a holiday.... As for the dog; even if it wasn't near the horses, it may well have still spooked them. As I posted earlier, you don't know what else has been going on there either. It's easy for dog owners to forget that horse owners have similar feelings towards their animals.
