ive owned both and i can honestly say my male redtail was by far the better bird for variety and excitement,it was awesome at catching squirrels,it used to corkscrew the tree til it nailed it,he even used to pull the dray apart if ever they went in,which subsequently meant they'd come back out and then you could come out the woods and slip him on a hare or rabbit,he caught the odd waggyhen,pheasant and mallard but birds wern't his forte,i once slipped my female redtail on a hare and she spotted a fox before i could blink she was on it pulling great chunks of fur out ,as i started legging it
