when i left school the youth training schemes(yts) were all the rage,a lot of my mates went on em in various things,like plumbers,mechanics,sparkys etc,a few mates stuck at it and are still doing the same job but the majority of em jacked it in,because of the £27 a week wage i know it was in the 80s but it was still feck all,luckily my brother got me a job with a drainage firm,were i was earning 3 times that and now 22 yrs on i run my own small drainage company and there will always be drains to sort out and where theres muck theres brass
