LOCKING WHEEL NUTS ARE THE BAIN OF THE MOTOR INDUSTRY. A smaller multipoint socket brayed on will usually get them, or as mentioned the welded on nut and the left handed thread remover, I have a one I could post to you if you get really stuck?? or come to Alnwick and I will take them off for you.

Landrover, the most uncomfortable machine ever made. Good off road thats it. 35 years in the motortrade and never been in a good one yet.

Good in the fields with the correct tyres. Watch if parked in long grass as they wrap up around the drive shafts and burst the diff seals. the engines go for ever if you look after them and you don't need to be a rocket scientist to service them. A good Bus if you get them at a good price.

When ferreting at the weekend we caught a squeaker I would think about 3 weeks old, has anybody else caught a one at this time of year? We were on the Dunes in Northumberland 30 yards from the North Sea. I now have it lodged in a cage by my Lady friend and her Daughter... Don't ask :icon_redface:

Leave the rabbits in a pile and collect them on the way back is the easiest, you do that with the lamp battery and cause a bit of a problem? :)

Has anyone used the LIT31 that is being advertised by North East Fieldsports on the site. Feedback would be good as the principal of the battery and the weight makes it a winner if it works a good as the advert. Thanks for reading G.

Someone near us shot a Sheep with a crossbow recently, just the thing to give us all a bad name. Still can not think why anybody would want to shoot a Sheep.

I was giving an old bloke directions one night when out with the dogs when he said I think your dog has caught something? I turned around and my Bedlington had a Mole in his face. Wet lad here thought will it bite??? The dog was looking at me as if to say take the thing you soft T@@t. He never seems to stop giving me a laugh. :D

I try not to comment on our country as it annoys the f@@k out of me. All I can say is we used to be GREAT BRITAIN and now we are the United Kingdom, that says it all....................................................

I have one we call him Dude as ever since he was a pup he has had attitude, he has papers but I have used him mainly on whippets for pups and have had some excellent reports back. He goes to ground and will have a go at anything under there and anything that moves on the top but has a superb way with Kids and Cats. His attitude when something needs done is get it sorted. One fault when he is in hunting mode the Terrier deafness comes in. Still love him though.

The NFU have old fashioned values and the Farmers dictate to them I bit. When you have a claim they help or will tell you why its not a claim with no flannel. They always try and help thats a deffo..

Just an observation but Little Butch has a nice banner that can be miss read by authority?? Everybody can put on a bolshie side if needed we are all guilty when someone or thing Pee's you off. We need to think about each other a bit more and the need for give and take has never been so needed. Lurchermen, Keepers the Hunt and everybody else all want a piece of the Pie but do not want to give anything back as they see it as a sign of weakness. Happy Hunting for all.

I have rang three times, a lady said she would get back to me and I also left a message on his answer machine. I always use Ian as his service is always very good I just wonder if all is well. I called again earlier today and the answer machine kicked straight in. I will give him another call.

Hi. Norwich Union changed there policy about three years ago to stop you driving any car. The other sheep will follow. If you want good cover off a real Insurance Company go to the NFU. National Farmers Union. They will also cover working dogs Quads and your guns etc. They are the country folks insurers. They are not always the cheapest but they look after the policy holder and they are all U.K. based helpdesks and they have agents in most of the small towns. Good luck.

Do not forget the bottom falls out of the Navara motor when it does 60,000. Buy a FORD Ranger they are better ang go well in the fields. The 3.0ltr ones are good no superb and give OK MPG. There are some good deals about on Pick ups as the higher tax is slowing the sale of them. Have a look on Autotradrer to see what the average price is. If your spending £12,000 on a vehicle go to a dealer and make sure it has FSH as you don't want any silly bills.. Happy Driving.

Fell, good looking litter all the best with them, just a note cut the loop off the old fleece just incase it gets wrapped around the bitch or a pup.
