Ive got 2 of these .. 1 very kitted with crosman steel breech,Boss valve, crooked barn extended bolt probe, had the hammer spring and guide polish, trigger tuned, the barrels been recrowned and had the mechanism and sears polished.. and that pushes out about 10.4 ft/lbs on a normal day. Then my 2nd as pretty much bog standard at the minute .. and id be lucky to hit 8ft/lbs indoors with it. Does the job shooting rats in the sheds but not half aswel as the other.
-
Also if its a new s400 it might be only putting out 8ft/lbs worth putting over a chrono and see what its doing. For some reason Air Arms have been downing the power on there new guns .. im sure i read that on another forum.

Lol 14foot is a big snake .. Retics have lovely markings there breeding dwarf retics and making some serious dough on them nowadays though no doubt in the not so distant future we'll have to rescue them for not actually being dwarfs they still grow to a decent size and weight. We've got a young albino burmese , rescued from a shop as she was a big snappy and hissy .. with a bit handling shes calmed down alot , still dont fancy putting my hand in her tank now and shes only 5 1/2 foot! Worst ive got is a little argentine boa only a yearling but its a snappy vicious little c*nt really need to ta -

I know what you mean the lizards have more character! I grew up with a bosc .. used to have to exercise him in the bath keep him trim! I know of someone with a tiger .. luckily he's 100 odd mile away. Wouldn't mind an ackie or other small monitor myself have to wait and see. Concentrating on boids at the minute possibly got a gravid argentine boa ... accidental mating the randy wee shite was only in the tank for a few hours while we were moving them about. -

dwal ... Dangerous wild animals license ... something needed if you want to keep some of the more venomous T's and scorpions , also corbras, rattle snakes , crocs, gila monsters and the likes. If you get one you can go out buy a bloody elephant if you so wish. -

Erm ... the usual .. kangaroo , blesbok , croc , kudu , emu .. wouldnt mind ostrich ( which i really didnt like) , boar and tried snake once .. was okish.. horse twice .. 1st time i didnt actualyl know i really enjoyed it actually. Then all manner of creepy crawlies .. moths, crickets, maggots (infact for a bet a ate a plate full of maggot fried rice) locusts, spiders n a few snails .. all the bugs have been when theres been a few of us a bit drunk and someone pipes up and says ' you wouldn't eat a maggot' and me being an idiot always seems to rise to the challenge! -
