if you get right in the middle of the fens the dogs do have more time than on a paddock. but grass land dont take as much out of a dog as clay or peat, and whose to say when u do get a hare in middle of the fens that your dog as got more wind than the hare, not all about stamina and people think there not a bit of cover on the fens..........i was out all last year with a fella with a good little bitch good killer anyway............we were gettin 3/4/5 min runs he was gettin 30 second runs and missing um.......why? becasue the bitch wasn't good round cover
