  1. thanks all for the info. no jamming so far . looks like i'll be investing in different ammo and a better scope. maybe a full strip down and clean .what cleaning regieme do you boys use
  2. hi all what sort of grouping is acceptable for a semi auto 10/22. am used to tight thumb nail 5 shot groups with a sako quad at 60 m. tried to zero my new to me second hand ruger and groups were about 3 to 4 inches. have a 4x32 webly scope on it. parker hale moderater and was using remington subsonics.any help more than welcom.thamks
  3. what do you lads think. do you need to kill the quarry for a young dog so he feels he can do it or ok to let it go to run another day. what if he bolts the first couple would it be better if hed been dug to. wanted others opinion to resolve a discussion.thanks

  7. had a look can only see rifle sling swivels. the ones i'm looking for are for double barreled side by side shotgun you have to drill and fix to the rib.thanks
  8. hi all wan to fit a sling to my s/s have seen studs that you drill and tap made buy uncle mike but cant seem to get hold of any always out of stock. is there any other way of fitting a sling .thanks
  9. hi all i usually keep my two borders together apart from when the bitch is in season. whenever i seperate them the bitch seems to pick up a little prob. nothing toobad a weepy eye or a bit of an ear infection or dry patch of skin nothing i cant fix with a few drops or cream . the dogs seem healthier when kept together what are you guys thoughts on this

  11. 11 month old Lurcher dog for sale. Good with people and used to terriers. Fast and shows promise from proven dog and bitch. Lack of space forces sale. £150.
  12. hi guys. got two border terrier dog pups for sale. bred my bitch because mates wanted pup. got two left. would love them to go to working homes.both are kc reg not that that really matters but does to some. dam is a cracking rabbiting ratting and bushing bitch and has had fox above ground she also has an excellent nose and marks well. sire is a hunt terrier and hard as they come. if i had the room i.d keep them myself but room doesn.t pemit. pups have been parvo jabbed panacured and frontlined.£250 each am in bridgend in south wales
  13. i innoculate my terriers every year. was picking up a batch from the dog track and got chatting. the lad said not to bother if i'd done them as pups.what do you think.
  14. thanks for the input lads.bit of a spin from the original but is the testicle not dropping hereditary.read somewhere it is but heard somewhere else its not.any thoughts. if he makes the grade wouldn't want to breed him if he can pass it on.
  15. Hey all ,my border dog is 16 months old and is showing good propects. problem though one of his testicles hasnt dropped. Apparently there is a high risk of testicular cancer in the undecended testicle. If I have him castrated, will this effect his working ability?
