    had a sal x whippet x grey myself,22 1/2",was obedient enough(my standards arnt that high)and retrieved well enough,and was a cracking rabbit dog,my only complaint was it was a skinny looking thing,as a lot of saluki blooded dogs are,and kids used to shout after me,why dont you feed your dog mister,lol

    ant try,durham animal feeds ,near rushyford,they do whole tripes for £1,works out about about 5p lb,or you can buy it minced at 25p lb,they do other stuff as well,whole beef liver 30p,beef heart £1 each,and minced chicken carcase 25p lb 01388720411

    try to keep the critter in the edge of the lamp,or shine the lamp on the ground in front of it,so as not to spook it,and just watch its eyes,or use a filter,ive only used red myself,and they soon get used to it i find,but will maby try an amber one sometime, edit,you dont need to keep the lamp on all the time ,just flick it on to check where it is

    a staghound is just a big foxhound,(i think),there will be people on here who can tell you better than me,some people call deerhounds,staghounds,but i wouldnt call what you have one
