hello there, i recently bought the tactical xl and personally found that accupels and rws superdome field line have achieved the best results. if anything the rws pellets seem more snug. i have found myself picking them over the accupels. after owning this rifle for a bit over a month now , im really at ease shooting it now. im destroying wabbits at 35 -40 no problem with the confidence that if the right shot presented itself i would go for a 45-50 with the peace of mind it would be clean( well quick i mean) kill. out of interest do you own a chronograph?? i found some pellets hurled me over t

hello there, mine is .22 and come with 4x32 scope+sling+pellets+targets+hardcase, stuck my hawke 3-9x40 on it after a few shots at home. the 4x32 was fine though. i just prefer the other. took me quite awhile to take the plunge money wise, but am so glad i did. not at any point felt disapointed with it infact it feels like i got a bargin. my set-up cost £295 , i know that there are better deals to be had if you look around but i thought this was reasonable and i like to give the local shop my custom. goin rabbit bashing this sat so i'll let you no how it pans out then. for what i've shot of i

hello all, as some of you may have seen from the new members section, i picked up a bsa tactical xl last saturday and spent all day shooting targets after zeroing. i love this rifle , it handles great. the stock makes it for me. anyway, was out the field at the back of house(i have permission to shoot before anyone jumps down my throat lol) about 5pm lastnight shooting targets and tins in preperation for some rabbit bashing this saterday evening, when along comes a squirrel through a bush and straight up onto the fence. my scope is zeroed to 30yds, and the fence is just a bit further than th

luckily for me the rabbits by me seem totally indiferent to my presence on the field. as long as i move slowly i can pretty much just pick a spot stalk out to it then go prone. the field where i shoot is absolutley crawling with them. sometimes infact it feels like im taking the piss its so easy. they are either sunning themselves or wondering around grazing. of course once they see one of their cousins doin backflips due to a .22 lodged in the head they soon scarper but if i stay unmoving there back out in 20 mins or sooner. i think it really depends on the land, and the mood of the group. ne

the tactical, what can i say. pure emotion. handles perfect for me, spent the entire day shooting once id zeroed in the scope. getting hole in hole at 35 yds lack of room prevents me from goin any futher but it feels like its got a fair bit more in it. i think i got a problem seriously. keep getting it out of the case just to hold. so pleased with it, feels like it should've cost more. my pellet of choice like your mates is the accupels, my tactical came with 4x32 ( changed for hawke 3-9x40 ) hard case ,targets, sling, logan penetrators. cost £295, know i could have got a better price somewhe

hello all, thought id introduce myself seeing as iv'e been looking at the topics in a voyeristic manner. im des, im into everything weapons related. my main hobbies are air rifles and pistols, i am known as the grim reaper to the rabbits arond here, and there are quite a few tin cans that wish they'd never ended up in my garden. i have already got a good deal of info from some of the topics already. so , thats me. im spent .
