  4. Perfect, thanks Stubby. How are them kits coming on? Any breeding activity yet?
  5. So the Ferret Court arrives in the morning. I have a question though, what should I use for sleeping quarters in the sleeping area? When the court arrives it will just be an open plan area of approx 3ft x 4ft. I can build to save my life, any suggestions? I am assuming that throwing a load of towels on the ground will not be an option. I will over time fit shelves and run into this section as well, but my main concern is what they require to sleep in

  7. Thanks Mag. He's doing just fine. Just need to Lady Polecats and I am set
  8. Good call. Now I shall be looking for road works all weekend
  9. Where can I get the flexible pipe that I have seen some of you with for ferrets to run through?
  10. Done a fair amount of research at work today, and not much work. You can get the thick stuff which is bloody heavy, no real point, although after i ordered it the chap making the Court said he would fit it before delivery, that aside a 6x4 bit of the thick stuff was £26, however, as it weghs 40KG your almost touching a Ton with delivery. I then rang a few more people and got some stuff of off one company, its the Stable Mats that go on the walls, so its only 5mm thick. I got a 6x4 bit for £38 in delivery.
  11. Actually, just had a good tip from the Ferret Court manufacturer. What his other customers use is Rubber Horse Mats cut to size. Happy days
  12. How about this on the floor? http://www.thompsonswaterseal.com/products..._protection.cfm

  14. Thanks for the advice and continued offer of help chaps. Cant have it concreeted Stubby, Its gonna have to stay as it is. I am going to try and get them to crap in litter trays with Sawdust in the run, I know several people have had success with this, Im not saying its gonna work, but it worth a try. what I will do is keep some of the fresh poo etc and chuck it in a tray and show the Ferret's where it is. Other than that can I treat that wood with anything before they go in? Security is always going to be an issue, however, I live in a private road full of security lighting. Its th
  15. I did not call them. Since the wifey has given the green light to the Court I have been thinking........ I guess I could leave them alone? I plan 1 Hob, the infamous and lovely Brian (Got the Ferret box today BTW) and 2 Jills. I am assuming they will leave in harmony until they come into season? At this point Brian either goes back into his current hutch for that period, or i do indeed get a knot toed in it and he can fire blanks into the Jill's? Good? Bad? Indifferent?
  16. This is posted elsewhere, so appologies for the duplication. Sorry for all the questions, but you know me, its how I learn. So the wife says I can have a Ferret Court, wish she had told me a few days back, but nevermind. People have offered to build me one, and please be sure it IS very much appreciated, but I have decided to have the one below custom made. Thanks again for all the offers of help. Now the purchase does pose some issues that can hopefully be easily sorted. Firstly I have asked the company in question to change the doors round so I can access it easily baring in mind
  17. Stubby, thanks for the offer mate. VERY much appreciated. Dunno what I am gonna do yet. The missus, and this is an amazing thing, actually likes it = Green light
