  12. Hi all, sorry for all the questions I have another. I have just bought back 2 big logs from a local orchard and put them in Brian's cage. He seems to love them, running around like a loon. Clawing and knawing them. I am assuming its ok for the logs to go in?
  13. Thanks for the advice so far people.
  14. I have just purchased "The Complete Guide To Ferrets" and have some Q's for you. I should be getting 2 Polecat Jills very soon. My question is how easy is it to manage to Pregnant Jills. 1. Can I keep the Jills and Hob in the same hutch after they have mated? 2. Do I need to do anything else other than handle them daily? Or is it not that simple? Cheers all
  15. a few screw eye's into the underside of roof, either in hutch part or outside, some long bits of string/rope and tie ya hammock on, few inches off the floor Cheers again
  16. Good idea Stig. Cost of the whole thing Inc Delivery and Install was £295 They go on Ebay as low as £200 if your in the North and can pick it up. Have in mind that the hutch I have next to it was £120, good value. I know you can make your own for peanuts. But for people like me who have not got the time or inclination, its perfect.
  17. Great idea. I will do that as well. Thanks for the tips
  18. Another question. how do I get a hammock in there? I got a Rat Cargo net and ferret hammock from a pet shop, but cant think how to fix it up/
  19. Cant do that big bob. The floor is actually not attached. It sits in there flush. Its only downside it the run flooring could do with being as strong as the living quaters flooring
  20. Will give that a go at the weekend Stubby
  21. Well the hutch arrived this morning at 08:00 as promised, the guys were up at 03:00 to deliver it to me and intsall. It came from up North. It was packed into the back of a LWB Transit and they had it erected in about 60 mins. As you can see it made from sturdy wood. Cant remeber the type he said, it also has a rubber roof. Both Floor sections are removable so new ones can be fitted if and when they rot. I actually fitted some horse mat's to the run part. I did not bother with the bedding area as I was sure Brian would not do his business there. True to form he has started going righ
  22. It would have cost me £20 in petrol driving around for 10 mins
