i put a cuddly toy in her box with her last night she went silent loved it. she also has a radio on low, good food, warmth, plenty of toys and 4 different bones!! think shes starting to chill, i actually find it quite funny when shes howling at the moment, cos she goes from really high to really low. cheers for everyone whos put up some helpful information much appreciated. she is 8 weeks old, yes she is out on her own, it was kennelled with the rest of the litter until i picked her up monday. yeah the kennels fine also. im not smoothing her or playing with her at the moment just cleaning her out and feeding her. just want her to settle in

best bet 4 that is mate, tell the fcuking gays 2 move then they wont hear her she should settle down after a week mate, try putting a bone in with her thats what has worked 4 me and knacker her out a bit so she wants 2 sleep. i only had her two nights but she howls, day and night! i know she needs to settle in and im not making a fuss over her im just letting her get on with it but the two gays we got living next door have already made a point on it the i got the radio in the kennel, ive give her a few slaps on the nose but she aint having it! anyone else had this problem and any tips???

after 3 months of looking for the right bitch i found her! was well worth the 250mile trip! will get some pics up tomorrow, she's a bull/grey x collie/grey/bedlington. pure black with a little white chest.
